Baruch Dayan Ha'emet. Last night we lost a great Rabbi, teacher, author, psychiatrist, developed 12 steps for Alcoholics Anonymous, treated people with addictions. He touched so many people with his wisdom, gentle humour and warmth. He has made such a qualitative difference in so many people's lives. Rabbi Abraham Twerski, from a long and distinguished Rabbinic line. I personally heard him speak on many occasions and always took away something to apply to my life. I want to share a couple of videos where Rav Twerski shares a teaching for all of us in just a few words. יהי זכרו ברוך

Shvat – the month to fix our EATING
We have just started the Hebrew month of Shvat.
Every Jewish month has a different thing we are supposed to be working on.
And this month it is our EATING.
Is there anyone who does not have something to fix about their eating?
Our eating habits and food, in general, are a barometer of where we stand with everything. When we are masters of our eating, we are more in control of everything else too.
