Here are a few words from Yahal Porat, Director of the Cultural humanistic Judaism Unit, After a 10 days masa with the "Shofuni" band across the US: "I had the privilege to be part of the JCCA executives "MIFGASH". During those 3 days full of activities, I was lucky to spend time with the Directors of some 180 JCC's from across NA. Among other MEANINGFUL sessions, Dr. Fish spoke about "Humanization" we are all to try to give to a phenomenon when we try to tackle Anti-Israel and Anti-Semitic phenomena. Dr. Shapiro spoke of the ways to be a brilliant leader and engage our people in times of crisis, and Ash Beckham spoke of her book and leadership through uncertainty. Doron Krakow, CEO of JCCA, led a session dedicated to the unbreakable ties between Israel and Jewish communities. Well, the other part was engaging everyone through music. the Shufuni Musical band whom we were partnered with Mitchabrim to send to a tour, were holding a show in front of the JCCs ED in the Denver JCC facility. The music and the stories of those survivors from Sderot, Beeri and Meflasim, did not leave one eye dry. For real. The singing turned to be a prayer - mourning those whom we lost, and seeking some compassion for us all, in our hard work to re-build the land and the people. Mr. Krakow, as well as Mrs. Garber the vice president of JCCA based in Israel, took time in 3 different stages during the conference to thank Silvio personally and the Department for being partners. It was important to go and be part of the effect we create once sending survivors to talk their story. A big thank you to my partner Uriya Roth, director of Mitchabrim, who pulled everything together. And the shufuni band, my new brothers and sisters, Linor, Mira, Rotem, Daniel. Lucky we had quality time, for example on a short visit to the Red Rocks. a beautiful snowy nature, where for few moments we all became just kids in natures' heaven.

ההשלכות הקשות של מתקפת חמאס האכזרית ב7.10 הן רבות, מורכבות וחוצות יבשות. יהודים רבים בעולם התעוררו למציאות חדשה של שנאה, כזו המזכירה ימים חשוכים ביותר בהיסטוריה. יחד עם זאת יהודי העולם בחרו, ובוחרים כל יום מחדש, לחזק, להתאחד, ולהביע תמיכה במדינת ישראל.
בהובלת המחלקה למפעלים ציוניים וארגון ה-ECJC, ובתמיכה של ה- JDC, הגיעה היום משלחת סולידריות של כ-30 מנהיגים ומובילי קהילות יהודיות ברחבי אירופה. במשך ארבעה ימים יפגשו עם מי ששרד את התופת, ייפגשו עם משפחות החטופים ומשפחות שפונו מבתיהם, יבקרו בערים וקיבוצים בדרום ועוד. משלחת "הנני", יותר מאשר היא משלחת של סולידריות, הינה משלחת של עמדה חד משמעית וניצחת שאומרת "אנחנו כן, כל מה שאנחנו, עם כל מה שאנחנו וכל מה שנוכל להיות" (אתר 929)

Las terribles consecuencias del brutal ataque de Hamás el 7 de octubre son numerosas y complejas, y abarcan varios continentes. Muchos judíos en el mundo entero despertaron a una nueva realidad de odio, que evoca los días más tenebrosos de la historia. Al mismo tiempo, los judíos del mundo entero eligieron, y vuelven a elegir día a día, unirse para fortalecer y expresar su apoyo al Estado de Israel.
Promovida por el Departamento de Emprendimientos Sionistas y ECJC (el Consejo Europeo de Comunidades Judías), y con el apoyo del JDC, en estos momentos llegó a Israel una delegación solidaria de unos 30 líderes y dirigentes de comunidades judías de toda Europa. Durante cuatro días se reunirán con quienes sobrevivieron al in****no, con las familias de los secuestrados y las familias que fueron evacuadas de sus hogares, visitarán ciudades y kibutzim en el sur del país, etc.
La delegación "Hineni" (aquí estoy), más que una expresión solidaria, es una delegación con una postura inequívoca y victoriosa que dice: "estamos aquí, con todo lo que somos y con todo lo que podemos ser".

The harsh consequences of the brutal Hamas attack on October 7th are complex and cross continents. Many Jews across the world woke up to a new reality of hatred, one that recalls the darkest days in history. At the same time, the Jews of the world chose, and choose every day anew, to strengthen, unite, and express support for the State of Israel.
Led by the Zionist Enterprises Department and the ECJC organization, and with the support of the JDC, a solidarity delegation of about 30 leaders of Jewish communities across Europe arrived today. For four days they will meet with those who survived that horrific saturday, they will meet with the families of the abductees and families who were evacuated from their homes, they will visit cities and kibbutzim in the south and more.
The "Hineni" (I am) delegation, more than it is a delegation of solidarity, is a delegation of an unequivocal and winning position that says "We are, all that we are, with all that we are and all that we can be". (929 website)
