The Department for Non Formal Education at the World Zionist Organization recently hosted the 2026 European WAY Conference in Paris, together with KKL-JNF.

Over four meaningful days, nearly 80 young leaders from 18 European countries — representing 5 zionist youth movements — came together to learn, challenge one another, strengthen partnerships, and deepen their shared commitment to Zionist leadership.

At a time when Jewish and Zionist communities across Europe face complex realities, rising antisemitism, polarization, and deep questions of identity and belonging, gatherings like WAY are not just important. They are essential. And especially in these days of threat and war with Iran, we are reminded that our strength is not measured only in military terms.

Our strength is in our unity.
In our resilience.
In the relationships we build across countries and movements.
In the courage of young leaders who choose responsibility over indifference.

The Jewish people have never been defined only by the challenges we face, but by the way we rise to meet them, together.

This conference was a living expression of that strength.

It was especially meaningful to gather at a time when there are no hostages held in Gaza. We continue to pray for the safety of our soldiers, for the security of Israel, and for peace and well-being for our entire people.

As we return home, the real work continues.

Stronger networks.
Braver leadership.
A shared future.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jewish community of Australia this Hanukkah. May this festival of lights bring hope, strength, and unity — and overcome darkness and terror.

The 5th Conference on Informal Education and Young Leadership brought together over 500 participants from around the world as part of the 39th World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem. 🇮🇱

Thank you to everyone who took part in shaping the next generation of Zionist leaders and being a part of this remarkable day!

“If you will it, it is no dream.”

For the 4th time since our establishment, we were honored and thrilled to lead and facilitate the European Conference for Zionist Youth Movements in Europe, in Athens Greece.

More than 75 participants from more than 15 countries and 5 Zionist movements, all came together to the birth place of democracy in order to take an active part in fascinating discussions in many relevant topics: Combatting Antisemitism, The effects of October 7th, The Challenges of the movement and many more.

We have an amazing time and cant wait for the next WAY seminar! We want to thank the community of Athens, for Israel and Commemoration Holocaust and the amazing movements and staff - making this event come to life.

The year that is ending has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging in history for the Jewish people and the State of Israel. As we begin this new year, we renew our hope and commitment to work tirelessly for the immediate return of the more than 100 hostages still held in Gaza, as well as for peace in Medinat Israel and the well-being of our soldiers who defend our home every single day.

At the close of this year, we deeply honor all the victims of October 7th, as well as those who have fallen in the defense of our land during the war and military operations. May their memory always be a blessing.

May 2025 bring us days of peace, unity, and resilience to overcome any challenge as the Jewish People.
