2. מאוכל - לקרמיקה

נרשמתי ללימודים בבצלאל מתוך אהבה לאוכל ושנים של ציור- רציתי ליצור מערכות אוכל ולתת במה למנה (יש לי קטע עם קומפוזיציות)

2. From Food to Ceramics – The Food’s Canvas
I enrolled at Bezalel Academy out of a love for food and years of painting. I wanted to create dinnerware sets and give the dish itself a stage (I have a thing for compositions).
(After that, I went on to study Gender and Art | Fashion Design | Industrial Design | and Interior Design).
Yes, pure curiosity is my main driver—and today you can definitely see how everything influences my work.

החיבור ליהדות התחזק אצלי כשהפכתי אמא , וכך בעצם העצימו הריטואלים- חיפשתי פריטים בסגנון שאני אוהבת - אני אדם של ריטואלים בכללי- מהקפה, לסוג צלחת אני אוהבת סדר ודברים שחוזרים על עצם עושים לי נחת ( לכן גם האתר מסודר לפי ריטואלים)
3. From Motherhood to Judaism
My connection to Judaism grew stronger when I became a mom, which naturally enhanced my rituals. I was looking for items in the style I love. I’m a ritual person in general—from my morning coffee to the specific type of plate I use. I love order, and repetitive routines bring me peace (which is also why my website is organized by rituals).

עד שהיא הגיעה כבר עבדתי עם כל הגדולים- רפי כהן, רושפלד, אדוני וכו- ושהיא הגיעה (הקורונה) וכל המסעדות שעבדתי איתם נסגרו- וכך בעצם נפתחה לי דלת חדשה לעולם הלקוחות הפרטיים- אתר עלה לאויר- וניתנה לי ההזדמנות ליצור פריטים של בית שאני ככ אוהבת ולא רק כלי אוכל.

How to make Garlic grater- Step by step 1-6

Soo Last month I posted a video of this perfect handmade must have product and it just went viral.
So many questions came up so I decided to post this territorial of how I made them step by step..

🎯 Slab- I use a very thin but ordinary kitchen rolling pin, every couple of minutes I flip it over so it won’t stick till I get to the thickness I desire. and then I tear the edges to get this organic feel.

🎯 Molding & Throwing - once the slab is in the right shape I throw it on a mold - I use either plaster molds that I make or a 3D printed one.

🎯 ⁠marking & Engraving- I use a ceramic needle while the hand wheel is spinning to get a spiral mark so that the engraving of the clay will get the spiral look and prevent negative marks. The second tool had a ball shaped finish- this part must be done before the piece hits leather hard- so that the clay will smoothly move the direction you desire.

🎯 Piercing the holes -once the piece hits leader hard I pierce the holes - I use a special tool but you can use any round shaped stick like a pencil or so..

🎯 The final product - I always fire to 1220 degree Celsius, I use an electric kiln and on these pieces I chose really rough white clay with over 5% grains. The glaze I use is white crackle- always home recipe!!!

🎯 The final product- I really like this piece!! It’s really easy to make and really fun to use! My pieces go in the dishwasher so that makes them very easy to clean!
