בין השירותים שאני מציע להורים:
· סדנה להורות מעשית (להורי ילדים בגילאי 3 עד 10) אשר יכיר לכם את העולם של משחק ממוקד-בילד. הסדנא בת 8 מפגשים של שעות וחצי כל מפגש. מטרת הסדנה היא שיפור הקשר בין ההורה וילדיו. משחק עם הילד משקף עולמו של הילד להורה. הסדנה מלאה בטיפים פרקטיים, כלים מעשיים ודרכים לפיתוח זמן איכות עם הילד/ים, להציב גבולות ללא ענישה ולשנות סדרים לא רצויים בבית.
· ייעוץ והדרכת הורים - אישית או זוגית. להורים המתמודדים עם קשיים התנהגותיים או רגשיים של הילד. בין אם מדובר בתקופות מעבר, במשבר חברתי של הילד בסביבת הלימודים או קושי בהתמודדות עם הילד בבית - תהליך ייעוץ פרטני שיחשוף את הקשיים הרגשיים בבסיס ההתנהגות ויציע כלים לפתרון הקושי - הרגשי וההתנהגותי. את ההדרכה ניתן לבצע באמצעות מספר מפגשים ממוקדים או בתהליך ליווי ארוך יותר. השירות יותאם לצורך הפרטני שלכם.

PARENTING TODAY – A TOUGH CHALLENGE!

Or maybe you have a difficult child, perhaps with special needs, and coping with everyday challenges at home makes things awkward for the other siblings and for you?
Pleased to be in touch, I am Alex Lewis - an expert in educational counseling with more than 20 years of experience in the field from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Welfare, various associations and organizations. Among the achievements I can point out is introducing case management to Elwyn Israel, training and supervising them during their initial years of work in the field. In addition, I have trained teachers, therapists and caregivers in various educational settings. I have provided parent counseling and training in various fields in all the frameworks that I have worked in. I have trained staff in educational frameworks in ways to interact with students and more.
My education in the field of education is broad and includes the following:
· B.A. in Psychology and Education from the Hebrew University
· A Special Education Teaching Certificate from the Hebrew University
· An M.A. in Special Education from the Hebrew University
· An Educational Counseling License from the Ministry of Education
· A Play Therapist and Child Parent Relationship Therapist Certificate from the School of Social Work, Bar-Ilan University.
After many years in the "system" I decided to embark on a new path, and to offer means and tools to help you, the parents, directly. If you are looking for the attentive ear of a professional with extensive experience in the field of education and parenting. If you need a guiding hand that will give you practical advice to cope with the day-to-day routine you are facing or if you are dealing with a specific difficulty with one of your children.

Among the services I offer parents are:
· A Practical Parenting Workshop (for parents with children aged 3-10) which will introduce you to the world of child-centered play. The workshop takes place over 8 meetings, each an hour and a half long. The aim of the workshop is to improve communication between the parent and his/her children. Our play with the child reflects the child's world to the parent. The workshop offers many practical tips, presents ways to develop quality time with your child/children, and tools which will help you set limits without punishment and to change unwanted routines in your home.
· Parent training and counseling - personal or for couples. For parents who are coping with the child's behavioral or emotional difficulties. Whether it is a period of transition or social crisis of the child in the school environment - a process of individual counseling that will reveal the emotional difficulties in the basis of behavior and offer tools for solving the difficulty - emotional and behavioral. The training can be carried out through a number of focused meetings or over a longer period. The service will be tailored to meet your specific needs.
· Parent training and counseling for parents of children with special needs of all kinds, including severe and multiple disabilities.
