Our final Pitch Night is both exciting and sad. On one hand a new beginning is around the corner, and on the other it means GreenBiz ends...
We thank everyone who took part in the program and turned it into a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to build a better future for our planet.
It was an honor to meet and get inspired by our students from all over the world, to learn from leading sustainability experts & innovative climate companies, and to solve global challenges- together.
In summary, it was another incredible experience for the GreenBiz fam 🌿
Instead of goodbye, we prefer to say:
see you around ☀️

"My name is Omer Karadi & I'm ending my first year in Sustainability and Economics.
I work as a cocktail bartender at Clavis club and love the world of flavors and cocktails. My interest in sustainability started as I was looking at posters of lonely polar bears. While staring at them, I realized it doesn't touch me emotionally since I live in Israel and never seen polar bears.
It got me to think, how do we present & market climate change? This week, I challenged my program partner to do the same.
I am a freelance photographer & cinematographer, love sports, beach volleyball and basketball. Most importantly, im passionate about environmental activism."

Meet Yonah and his GreenBiz story!👇🏼
Hi, my name is Yonah Feld, I was born in Israel and grew up in Los Ángeles. I made aliyah and drafted to the navy where I served on missile ships.
I'm a first-year Government and Sustainability student and part of the GreenBiz club. What I truly love about Sustainability is that it's a field dedicated to solving problems and touches everyone and everything.
I chose GreenBiz to learn more about Sustainability and engage in the topic with students who aren't studying the major, also to hear what they're concerned and excited about."

Our favourite time is when our students start working on their ventures.
After an absorbing lecture on business model development, our students continued to meet their mentors and, together with their teams, started integrating their ideas for executable business models.
We enjoyed a session full of research, creative thinking and collaboration, and we cannot wait to see the solutions unlocked by our students! 🗝⚙️

Today is the day! Our students will meet their mentors and start working on their own ventures.
We are excited to dive into their markets research and see how their ideas fit into a model.
Starting today, they will have a month to build the perfect pitch for their ventures.
We wish everyone good luck and most importantly, to enjoy the journey!
At GreenBiz we learn, grow, and solve environmental problems, together!

Nuclear energy is our most reliable source of carbon-free energy. 🏭
Investments in nuclear are expected to total $45 billion in 2022. Advanced technology and research is constantly applied on these fascinating power plants to improve the safety, efficiency, and transparency of the process.
We dedicate this to understand better our energy resources. And while opinions on vary, we cannot ignore its transformative power that has the potential to solve global warming.

🌍 Day theme: 'Invest In our Planet'. From food to hot water and electric cars, even reading this post requires energy.
As an educational program we see knowledge as our most valuable investment.
And expanding our knowledge on the challenges our extremely high energy consumption creates, is as effective as acting for climate change.
In fact, its is putting energy in what the planet needs most.
