This beautiful poem captures the feelings we sailors have about voyaging and discovering new ports of call. It is entitled "Ithaca" and was written by the Greek poet of Alexandria named Cavafy. Enjoy. And for those of us landlocked at home while the war rages on, we can dream of our sailing adventures this summer.
