(The procedure is written in Hebrew) https://www.gov.il/en/Departments/policies/nohal_scholarship_2016

1. Applications for scholarships to be submitted by June 15 will be discussed in the second half of June 2017.
2. Applications for scholarships to be submitted by November 15, 2017 will be discussed in October 2017.
Conditions for receiving a scholarship:
The scholarship will be paid in two payments
1. Holder of Israeli citizenship (or certificate of studies)
2. No criminal record
3. Does not receive assistance from another source
4. Personal interview at the Ministry of Tourism.
5. Commitment to work as a tour guide in Chinese-speaking tourists.
6. Succeed in all tests of the Ministry of Tourism
7. At least a score of 70 in the tour guides course
8. Participation in all classes and in all the tours.
9. Approval of payment of tuition fees to the School for Tourism.
The following documents must be submitted:
1. Photocopy of identity card or passport.
2. Bank account details
3. Proof of knowledge and control of the Chinese language (or another language according to the list in the Ministry of Tourism)
4. Scholarship Submission Form - 2017.
5. Letter of reasoning for the scholarship grant.
6. Registration confirmation of the Tel Aviv Tourism School.
7. A statement that the student does not receive support from another source.
