Building Bridges and Strengthening Bonds: Our Youth Delegation to the UK! ๐ฌ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฑ
At a time when Jewish connection and solidarity mean more than ever, we are incredibly proud of our high school students at the Leo Baeck Education Centre in Haifa!
This summer, we doubled our youth delegation to the UK, sending 18 inspiring Leo Baeck students to volunteer across synagogues, summer camps, and Jewish primary and secondary schoolsโincluding Alyth, Finchley, Edgware, JCoSS, Clore Tikva, and Akiva.
Through fun activities, personal conversations, and shared values of pluralistic and inclusive Judaism, our students served as living bridges to Israel.
As Rabbi Oshrat Morag, Senior Rabbi at Leo Baeck, shared with the Jewish News:
"We believe in personal connections, and the best way is to connect teenagers with Israeli peers who share the same values of pluralistic and liberal Judaism. They become a natural bridge and offer their own perspective on Israel."
