Welcome to Friends of Thelma Yellin School of the Arts
A group of passionate not-for-profit members, called Friends of Thelma Yellin who focus their energies on raising funds for the Thelma Yellin School of the Arts. A large amount of these students were able to enroll and fully participate in their arts education programs with the financial support from Friends of Thelma Yellin. Friends of Thelma Yellin is a charitable, not-for-profit organization that supports the school’s mission by providing financial support and guidance to promote the academic, artistic and humanistic success of Thelma Yellin School of the Arts’ students. Friends of Thelma Yellin School of the Arts fill in the gaps with community support to promote positive outcomes for Thelma Yellin School of the Arts students by supporting everything from scholarships to student performances both in Israel and abroad, up to date technology and equipment as well as master classes,
Fundraising events, grants and donations are the primary source for funding scholarships. We invite our students, families and the broader community to learn more about our work. Please consider making a donation and join Friends of Thelma Yellin in making our students continued success our mutual goal.

Such a great time in Dallas , thank you

This Sunday, January 7th at noon is a special opportunity to hear The Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts Big Band from Israel in concert in the Beth-El Chapel. The band is comprised of Israeli students that have traveled to Dallas to participate at a special competition. There is no charge for this special concert event. If you enjoy jazz, hip hop, Funk and Fusion and certainly if you have children learning to play band instruments, this should not be missed!

22 תלמידי תלמה ילין נוסעים להיוסטון טקסס, ארה"ב להשתתף בכנס ג'אז 2018 JEN וזקוקים לעזרה למימון הוצאות של טיסות, מלונות, וכול'.

תלמה ילין, מוכר כמלכ"ר , צרו קשר ונעזור לביג בנד לייצג את ישראל ואת בית הספר בכבוד.

Once again The Thelma Yellin Big Band students are proud to say that they have been accepted to perform at the JEN Conference January 2018 in Dallas Texas.

Flying 22 students across the globe, to represent Israel and the The Thelma Yellin School of the Arts Jazz program.
Looking for our friends in the community to help out with the enormous expenses. (each student must cover his/her own expenses - flights , hotels etc..).

Thelma Yellin School of the Arts - a non profit organization.
