The British Council recently hosted a reception, led by His Majesty's Ambassador to Israel, Simon Walters, to mark the relaunch of the Wohl Clean Growth Alliance, a programme that supports academic collaboration in the field of clean growth.
More than 50 scientists from across Israel attended the event, where the British Council introduced two upcoming calls for proposals: one supporting collaborative projects between researchers, start-ups, NGOs and companies addressing clean growth challenges, and another dedicated to early-career researchers.

The Ambassador highlighted the importance of UK-Israel collaboration in science and technology and thanked Wohl Legacy for its continued support. Jo Cohen, Joint Chief Executive of Wohl Legacy, spoke about the programme's role in advancing research, fostering innovation and strengthening partnerships.
Tamar Zandberg, former Minister of Environmental Protection, highlighted the importance of building strong academic partnerships and reflected on the impact of the recent UK delegation in fostering these connections.
We look forward to sharing the full calls for proposals soon. Stay tuned.

Examples are a great way to develop your ideas in the IELTS Writing test. 🙌

Really great examples follow the same basic principles:

> They’re easy to understand.
> They support your main point.
> They describe a specific situation, not a general idea.
> They don’t repeat words from the sentence before.
> They focus on one idea.

Suggest another possible example for the same sentence in the comments. ✍️
