HEMA Israel - מועדון אל"ה ישראל

השתתפנו בטורניר 'פכטברג' שבפולין זו השנה השנייה, והפעם בנוכחות מתוגברת של 7 לוחמים! איתנו היו גם חברינו הטובים מ-Ministry of the Fence, ויחדיו היינו 16 לוחמים מישראל! ⚔️ 🇮🇱

השתתפנו בכל המקצים - חרב ארוכה, חרב ובאקלר, רפייר ופיגיון וסייבר. הגענו לתוצאות נאות, ומאמן הסייבר שלנו, טוליק, העפיל לרבע הגמר! 🤺

שיתוף הפעולה הצמוד בין הלוחמים ובין המועדונים היה מצויין ואנחנו מבטיחים לעמוד זה לצד זה גם בטורנירים הבאים. ♥️

נתראה באימונים!

We have participated in the Fechtberg HEMA tournament in Poland for the second year, and this time with a reinforced presence of 7 fighters! With us were our good friends from Ministry Of The Fence - Israeli HEMA, and together we formed a team of 16 fighters from Israel! ⚔️🇮🇱

We fought in all nominations - longsword, sword and buckler, rapier and dagger and sabre. We've achieved good scores and our sabre instructor, Tolik, got to the quarter-finals! 🤺

The cooperation between the fighters and the clubs was great and we promise to stand side-by-side in the next tournaments as well. ♥️

רגע אחד, אפשר לנשום – הסתיים טורניר "מעוז צורנהאו" לשנת 2025!

זו השנה השניה שאנחנו מקיימים את התחרות הארצית והמדורגת שלנו בלונגסורד\חרב ארוכה, בהשתתפות מועדונים מרחבי הארץ ועשרות לוחמים. תמונות מקצועיות תהיינה בקרוב, אבל בינתיים, טעימה קטנה – כ-30 לוחמים ולוחמות ומקצה הנשים הראשון בישראל, שופטים, צלמים ואנשי מינהלה, הרבה מתח, עבודה קשה וכמובן – לחימה ברמה הגבוהה ביותר שיש בישראל!

כמו תמיד, תודה רבה לכל מי שהגיע ותמך ועזר ושפט ונלחם – כל אירוע כזה הוא תוצר של שיתוף-פעולה ענף ורחב בין אנשים רבים במועדונים שונים, ולא היה אפשרי בלעדיהם. אתם נפלאים ויש לכולנו מזל שאתם כאן.

השנה גם סיימנו כמועדון עם שתי מדליות זהב – ארסני ירמולנקו, שסיים בשנה שעברה במקום ה-3 והשנה זכה במקום הראשון, אחרי קרבות קשים עם מיטב הסייפים בארץ, וסבטלנה ברלכיס שנלחמה בעוז ומיומנות מול נשים משאר המועדונים וזכתה במדליית הזהב! כל הכבוד לשניכם, אנחנו גאים בכם מאוד.

One moment, a breather – our longsword tournament, Maoz Zornhau 2025, has come to a conclusion!

This is the second year we’ve held the country-wide, rated longsword tournament, with clubs from all over and dozens of fighters. Professional pictures will be soon, but in the meantime, a little taste – around 30 fighters and Israel’s first women’s nomination, judges, photographers and administrators, a lot of stress, hard work and of-course – the best fencing to be seen in Israel!

As always, we’d like to thank all who came, helped, supported, judged and fought – every such event is the result of a broad and deep cooperation between many people from various clubs, and would not have been possible without them. You are wonderful and we are very lucky to have you here.

This year we’ve also won two gold medals as a club – Arseniy Ermolenko, who finished 3rd last year and won first place this year, after hard fights with the best fencers in the country, and Svetlana Berelekhis, who fought well and tenaciously against women from other clubs and got gold! Kol HaKavod, we are very proud of both of you.

ב-9.10 התארחנו שוב בפסטיבל אייקון! כמו תמיד, הבאנו איתנו חרבות, חניתות ואפילו לייט-סייבר, והדגמנו לחימה וטכניקות מול קהל באי הפסטיבל. היה כיף מאוד ואנו מקווים לעשות זאת שוב גם בשנה הבאה.

On 9.10, we participated again in the Icon Festival! As always, we brought swords, spears and even light-sabers, and demonstrated fighting and technique in-front of festival goers and the crowd. It was great fun and we hope to do it again next year.

Much thanks to the dedicated Icon staff, who are always there, working tirelessly.

Festival פסטיבל אייקון

We first met Pavel on our first international tournament in Georgia, and were immediately delighted to hear him speak Hebrew, as he had studied it for some years. During breaks, he played songs on his flute, one of them being our national anthem, HaTikva. We would talk about him coming to Israel and fencing with us.

Pasha was our friend, a beautiful soul, full of humor and wit, and passion for HEMA and for swords. It's hard to even think about him as being gone. We shall remember him fondly and lovingly, and miss him dearly.

לפני יומיים, חבר המועדון, אנטולי ברלכיס, יצא לטורניר בפולין! יחד איתו לתמיכה היה חבר נוסף, פאבל טרסוב.

בין אם אנחנו מנצחים או מפסידים, המאמץ שלנו לעולם אינו לחינם. כל הכבוד לטוליק! ⚔️💪🏼

Two days ago, a member of our club, Anatolii Berelekhis , attended a tournament in Poland! With him to support him was another friend, Pavel Tarasov.

Whether we win or lose, our efforts are never in vain. 💪🏼⚔️ Well done to Tolik and kol hakavod!

ב-23.9 השתתפנו שוב בפסטיבל אבירים ירושלים! ⚔

כל שנה אנחנו מגיעים, וכל שנה הפסטיבל גדול יותר וטוב יותר. תמיד כיף להיות שם, לפגוש את החברים שלנו מהמועדונים האחרים, לדבר עם באי הפסטיבל ולהכיר להם את התחום שלנו, וכמובן להילחם! ⚔

תודה רבה למארגני הפסטיבל שאירחו אותנו, וכמו תמיד - ניפגש גם בשנה הבאה. ❤

On the 23rd of September we participated again in the Knights of Jerusalem Festival! ⚔

We come every year, and each year the festival is bigger and better. It’s always fun being there, meeting our friends from the other clubs, talking with the festival goers and answering their questions and, of-course, fighting! ⚔

Thanks to the festival organizers for hosting us, and as always - we shall meet again next year. ❤

לא רבים יודעים כמה מאמץ ומשאבים דרושים כדי להגיע לטורניר בין-לאומי, קל וחומר להצליח בו. החברים שלנו משקיעים מאמצים אלה באופן עקבי וראוי להערכה, ואנחנו מחזקים אותם ומשתתפים בשמחתם - כל צעד כזה מקדם את התחום ואת העוסקים בו. ⚔️

Not many realise how much effort and resources go into arriving to an international tournament, nevermind succeeding in it. Our friends put in this effort, consistently and admirably. We'd like to share in their joy and strengthen their resolve - every such step helps HEMA and those participating. ⚔️
