Over the past two days, students across WBAIS—from Early Years and Elementary School to Middle and High School—have returned from summer break, bringing new stories, big smiles, and plenty of first-day excitement with them. ✈️📚

There’s something special about seeing our whole school community come back together: familiar faces reconnecting, new friendships beginning, and classrooms and hallways coming alive once again.

This past Thursday, our community came together for a wonderful Promotion Ceremony to celebrate the learning, resilience, and growth of these amazing students. Throughout their magical—and at times challenging—Middle School journey, they have shown incredible strength and perseverance.

As they officially make the leap to High School, we wish them nothing but the absolute best. We can’t wait to watch them find their people, find their progress, and find their purpose! 🎓✨

Throwing it back to last week's final days of school! ☀️ Our elementary students had an absolute blast ending the school year with an epic Water Play Day.

From the massive foam machine and giant water slides to mini soccer showdowns and so much more, the students made memories that will last all summer long! 💦⚽🫧

Our middle schoolers absolutely crushed last week's Sports Day! To wrap up the final week of school, the weather cleared up perfectly, the energy was unmatched, and things got wonderfully messy.

A massive shoutout to our incredible Student Council and the PE Department for teaming up to plan the ultimate day of outdoor fun. You all knocked it out of the park! 🏆

🌍 Every language tells a story!

At WBAIS, we value ALL languages as a vital part of who we are. They are the pathways that connect us to our cultures, our communities, and our lives.

Recently, our Grade 4 and 5 EAL students explored these connections by reflecting on how they use their languages every day. It was a beautiful way to learn more about one another and celebrate the diverse experiences and cultures that make each student truly unique! 💙✨

🎉 Celebrating Excellence & Growth (in PJs!) 🎉

Yesterday, we held our High School Awards Ceremony to celebrate the incredible achievements, dedication, and growth of our students.

Awards were presented for Excellence, Perseverance, and Most Improved Performance, alongside some amazing university scholarship announcements.

The best part? It also happened to be Pajama Day! 🧸💤 Yes, our students accepted their prestigious awards and university scholarships in their finest flannel, oversized hoodies, and sweatpants.
