Our Beit Midrash is open to learners on all levels and participation does not require any prior knowledge or background in Torah study.

Classes are offered three times a week between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, during the evening hours after work.

Refreshments and a warm atmosphere make learning an enjoyable experience.

The classes span a variety of topics that are of interest to different participants.

The learning takes place in a classroom inside the Beit Midrash of the Hesder Yeshiva, which intensifies the connection to a larger place of Torah study.

In addition, the group also meets
up occasionally outside of the formal framework, which enhances the learning and unites the members of the group.

Can the plague in the Talmudic period teach us about the plague today? ✡️
Between Pesach and Lag B'Omer, 24,000 of the disciples of the Tanna Rabbi Akiva died in the plague, because they did not respect each other.
The death of the students was decided on Lag B'Omer.
This year when we are dealing with a severe plague ourselves, the days of counting the Omer are taking on a stronger meaning, slowly we feel that returning to a full routine is closer than ever.
We will spread free love and pray that the plague of our day will end soon 🙏🏻❤️

The construction of the skeleton of the Beit Midrash was completed right on time. The yeshiva building stands, and after Pesach, work on the interior will begin.

The construction of the shape of the beit midrash, the women's section, classrooms, the Rosh Yeshiva's room, the foyer areas, the mikveh, and the window frame at the front has been completed. The front wall's height is about 9 meters and produces an impressive look that blends well with Eilat's desert landscape.

Less than a year ago, the area designated for construction was an abandoned sandy hill. Today the yeshiva building stands there.

The cost of building the skeleton, close to 2 million NIS, was financed by the yeshiva graduates. Each graduate contributed as much as they could, while on average, each graduate donated thousands of shekels for the benefit of establishing the permanent structure of the yeshiva.

We have come a long way, but much work remains to be done.

Now, we face forward, to the plumbing and electrical work, to the finishes and furniture. Onward to the yeshiva's inauguration, with God's help!

I thought we would stay here two years, a maximum of three, in the end, I discovered that this lovely city can not be left so quickly.
My husband is currently involved in education, and I work at the integration school. "
Hannah Tobol, director of the Al-Ami integration seminary, 41 years old and originally from the center of Merkaz Shapira:
"At the integration school, a group of quality girls are studying, who chose to come to Eilat, especially to contribute to the city during their year of service.
The midrasha allows girls to continue to build their personalities out of Torah combined with giving in the year of service. The girls invest and study two evenings a week despite the rush of doing.
The study undoubtedly empowers them and gives direction, strengths and raises the quality of their giving to the general, and of course, affects life in the building of a house of Torah that is connected to the people of Israel and affects the general.
My role is to build the Torah study program at Midreshet Hashilov and teach content that will empower the girls, promote and strengthen them.
A significant part of my job is to form a quality team in which the atmosphere is good to add. I also personally accompany the girls according to the needs that arise from personal conversations, guidance, counseling, and support.

Step by step, the giant boards were lifted and placed on the special brackets prepared for them.

Did you know?

Each board is 16 meters long, 1.2 meters wide and weighs 16 tons!
