يوم الجمعة الموافق 4 أيلول 2026، التقى الأخ داود كسابري، مدير مدرسة الفرير الثانوية – القدس، بنائب فرسان القبر المقدس في النمسا ووفد من الفرسان، وذلك خلال زيارتهم الرسمية إلى الأراضي المقدسة.

وقد رحّب الأخ داود بالوفد ترحيبًا حارًا، وعرّفهم برسالة المدرسة التربوية واللسالية، مسلطًا الضوء على حضورها التاريخي العريق في القدس، والتزامها المتواصل بخدمة الطلبة وعائلاتهم من خلال التربية، والأخوّة، والإيمان، والخدمة.

On Friday, September 4, 2026, Brother Daoud Kassabry, Director of Collège des Frères – Jerusalem, met with the Lieutenant of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Austria and a delegation of Knights during their official visit to the Holy Land. Brother Daoud warmly welcomed the delegation and presented the school’s educational and Lasallian mission, highlighting its historic presence in Jerusalem and its ongoing commitment to serving students and families through education, fraternity, faith, and service.

منارة تميز في قلب القدس: مدرسة الفرير تكرّم الأخوين المتفوقين فاروق وأسامة العفيفيفي أجواء مفعمة بالفخر والاعتزاز، وخلال الطابور الصباحي، أقامت مدرسة الفرير الثانوية في القدس حفل تكريمٍ بهيج للاحتفاء بتفوق طلبتها في امتحانات الثانوية العامة، واللذين سطّرا إنجازاً استثنائياً وغير مسبوق بحصولهما على المرتبة الأولى على مستوى المدرسة في الفرعين العلمي والأدبي.وقد تجمعت العائلة التربوية لتقدم دروع التميز للأخوين المتألقين: الطالب فاروق حاتم العفيفي، الذي انتزع صدارة القسم العلمي، وشقيقه الطالب أسامة حاتم العفيفي، الذي تربع على عرش القسم الأدبي، ليثبتا أن الإرادة والعزيمة داخل البيت الواحد تصنعان المعجزات وتصوغان مستقبلاً واعداً.وبعد استلام الدروع التقديرية وسط تصفيق حار من الهيئة التدريسية والطلاب، ألقى الطالب فاروق كلمةً مؤثرة نيابةً عن نفسه وعن شقيقه، عبّر فيها عن عمق امتنانه وشكره الكبير لمدرسة الفرير. ووصف المدرسة بأنها لم تكن مجرد مكان للتعليم، بل كانت الحضن الداعم والموجه الأول لهما، كما وجّه تحية شكر وإجلال للطاقم التربوي والإداري على جهودهم الجبارة، وعطائهم اللامحدود، ومتابعتهم المستمرة التي ذللت الصعاب وقادتهم نحو هذا التفوق الباهر.يأتي هذا التكريم ليؤكد مجدداً رسالة مدرسة الفرير الثانوية في رعاية المبدعين، وإعداد جيل يمتلك العلم والمعرفة ليكون قادراً على العطاء والبناء في مجتمعه
A Beacon of Excellence in the Heart of Jerusalem: Collège des Frères Honours Brothers Farouk and Osama Al-Afifi
In an atmosphere of pride and joy, Collège des Frères – Jerusalem honoured brothers Farouk Hatem Al-Afifi and Osama Hatem Al-Afifi during the morning assembly for their outstanding achievements in the General Secondary Education Examinations (Tawjihi). Farouk ranked first in the school’s Scientific Stream, while Osama secured first place in the Literary Stream.
The school community gathered to celebrate this remarkable achievement, presenting both brothers with commemorative plaques amid warm applause from teachers and students. It was a moment that reflected the school’s pride in its students and demonstrated how dedication and perseverance, supported by family and school, open doors to success.
After receiving the awards, Farouk delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of himself and his brother, expressing their deep gratitude to Collège des Frères for providing a nurturing and supportive environment throughout their educational journey. He also thanked the teaching and administrative staff for their commitment, encouragement, and continuous guidance, which helped the brothers overcome challenges and achieve academic excellence.
This celebration reflects the school’s mission to recognise hard work, nurture talent, and educate young people in knowledge, values, and responsibility, preparing them to use their abilities in service to their community.

العودة إلى عرين الفرير: القدس تحتضن أحلام طلبتها في عام الأخوة والمثابرة
بعد يومٍ من التعطيل القسري والانتظار بسبب إجراءات التصاريح، تنفّست مدرسة الفرير الثانوية في القدس الصعداء، وفتحت أبوابها لتستقبل طلبتها بشغف متجدد وأمل لا ينكسر. لم يكن هذا التأخير إلا دافعاً إضافياً لإشعال رغبة العلم واللقاء في قلوب الجميع، لتبدأ الحكاية ببهجة استثنائية غمرت ساحات المدرسة العريقة.
انطلق هذا العام الدراسي الجديد تحت شعار رئيسي يحمل رؤية عميقة وهو: "لنَبنِ العالم الأخوي". هذا العنوان ليس مجرد كلمات تُرفع، بل هو نهج ورسالة تسعى المدرسة لغرسها في نفوس أبنائها، ليكونوا بناةً للسلام والوئام والمحبة في مجتمعهم والعالم.
وفي طابور الصباح، رحّب مدير المدرسة الأخ داود كسابري بالطلاب بكلماتٍ دافئة ومؤثرة، معبراً عن سعادته برؤيتهم مجدداً في بيتهم الثاني بعد هذا العائق العابر. ودعا المدير الطلاب إلى بذل أقصى جهودهم، متمنياً لهم عاماً مليئاً بالنجاح والتفوق والمثابرة. وأكّد في خطابه أن بداية العام الدراسي هي خطوة مهمة وأساسية لكل طالب وطالبة نحو تحقيق أحلامهم وبناء شخصيتهم المستقلة والواعية، مشيراً إلى أن المدرسة هي الحاضنة الإيجابية التي تصقل طاقاتهم وتدعم طموحاتهم.
كما ألقى الأستاذ عيسى ديب كلمةً بهذه المناسبة، وجّه فيها تحية تقدير واعتزاز بالطلبة، متمنياً لهم التوفيق والنجاح التام في هذا العام الجديد، وحثّهم على الانطلاق بعزيمة قوية لمواجهة التحديات وتحويلها إلى إنجازات تفخر بها المدرسة القدسية.
مع قرع الجرس الأول، عاد النبض إلى الصفوف، وانطلق قطار المعرفة في مدرسة الفرير الثانوية، ليثبت مقدسيّوها مجدداً أن إرادة العلم أقوى من كل العقبات.
Back to Frère: Jerusalem Embraces Its Students’ Dreams in a Year of Fraternity and Perseverance
After a mandatory one-day delay caused by permit constraints, Collège des Frères - High School in Jerusalem breathed a sigh of relief and swung its doors open to welcome its students back with renewed passion and unbroken hope. This brief delay served only as an extra spark, igniting a greater desire for learning and reunion within everyone's hearts, marking a joyous beginning that filled the historic schoolyards.
The new academic year launched under a profound and inspiring main theme: "Let us build a fraternal world." This slogan is not merely words on display; it is a vision and a mission that the school aims to instill in the hearts of its students, preparing them to become builders of peace, harmony, and love in their society and the world.
During the morning assembly, the school Principal Brother Daoud Kassabry warmly welcomed the students, expressing his joy at seeing them back in their second home after the temporary disruption. The Principal encouraged the students to give their utmost effort, wishing them a year filled with success, excellence, and perseverance. In his address, he emphasized that the beginning of the school year is a crucial and foundational step for every student toward achieving their dreams and shaping their personal identity, highlighting that the school is the ideal environment to nurture their potential and support their ambitions.
Mr. Issa Deeb also gave a speech on this special occasion, expressing his pride in the students and wishing them complete success and prosperity in the new academic year. He urged them to move forward with strong determination, turning challenges into achievements that bring pride to this distinguished Jerusalemite institution.
As the first bell rang, life returned to the classrooms, and the journey of knowledge commenced at Collège des Frères, proving once again that the will to learn is stronger than any obstacle.

في أجواء مليئة بالفرح والحماس، استقبل قسم الروضة طلابه وأمهاتهم في اليوم الأول من العام الدراسي. وقد شكّل هذا اللقاء الممتع فرصة للأطفال للتعرّف إلى الروضة ومعلماتهم، واكتشاف بيئتهم الجديدة والأنشطة الجميلة التي تنتظرهم، لتبدأ رحلتهم التعليمية بثقة وفرح.

In an atmosphere filled with joy and excitement, the Kindergarten Department welcomed its students and their mothers on the first day of the new school year. This enjoyable gathering gave the children an opportunity to meet their teachers, discover their new learning environment, and learn about the wonderful activities awaiting them as they begin their educational journey with confidence and happiness.

طلاقة العام الدراسي 2026–2027

استهلّت مدرسة الفرير الثانوية العام الدراسي الجديد 2026–2027 بلقاء أخوي تربوي جمع الطاقمين التربوي والإداري في مدينة بيت جالا.

بدأ اللقاء بالقداس الإلهي الذي ترأسه الأب برنار بوجي، رئيس الإكليريكية في بيت جالا، حيث تناول في عظته أهمية دور المعلّم القدوة، وقدرته على إحداث تغيير إيجابي في نفوس طلابه وحياتهم. كما أثنى على رسالة الطاقم التربوي في المدرسة، متمنيًا للجميع عامًا دراسيًا مليئًا بالفرح والإنجازات والنجاحات.

بعد القداس، كانت هناك استراحة قصيرة، أعقبها اللقاء العام، حيث رحّب مدير المدرسة بالمعلمين الجدد الذين انضموا إلى أسرة لاسال هذا العام: الدكتور موسى أبو طير، الدكتور عماد معتوق، المعلمة أيفون بجالي، المعلمة صوفي كامي، المعلمة أسيل أبو دياب، المعلمة هديل صابات، والمعلمة آلاء عكاوي.

كما قدّم رؤساء الأقسام المختلفة كلمات ترحيبية، تلاها عرض لمدير المدرسة تناول فيه رؤية المدرسة وتوجهاتها للعام الدراسي 2026–2027، مؤكدًا أهمية العمل بروح الفريق والالتزام برسالة المدرسة التربوية واللسالية.

واختُتم هذا اليوم المميز بجو من الألفة والأخوّة، حيث اجتمع الجميع حول مائدة المحبة في مطعم العريشة في بيت جالا، إيذانًا ببداية عام دراسي جديد نأمل أن يكون حافلًا بالعطاء والنجاح والفرح.

Collège des Frères Secondary School marked the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year with a fraternal and educational gathering for its teaching and administrative staff in Beit Jala.

The day began with the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. Bernard Bougy, Rector of the Seminary in Beit Jala. In his homily, he reflected on the essential role of teachers as role models and on their ability to bring about positive change in the hearts and lives of their students. He also expressed his appreciation for the school’s educational staff and wished them an academic year filled with joy, achievements, and success.

Following the Mass and a short break, the general staff meeting began. The School Director warmly welcomed the new teachers joining the Lasallian family this year: Dr. Mousa Abu Tair, Dr. Imad Matouq, Ms. Yvonne Bajjali, Ms. Sophie Kami, Ms. Aseel Abu Diab, Ms. Hadeel Sabbat, and Ms. Alaa Akkawi.

The heads of the various departments also offered words of welcome, after which the School Director presented the school’s vision and priorities for the 2026–2027 academic year, emphasizing teamwork, commitment, and fidelity to the school’s educational and Lasallian mission.

The gathering concluded in a warm and fraternal atmosphere as everyone came together around a table of fellowship at Al-Arisheh Restaurant in Beit Jala, marking the beginning of a new academic year that we hope will be filled with dedication, joy, achievement, and success.
