What a wonderfully, fantastic tiyul gibush…

Our day started at the Kastel national park where we learned about the pre-state of Israel 1948 siege of Jerusalem and consequent unrest on the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem road.

We continued to sha’ar HaGuy and deepened our pre-state of Israel knowledge through survivor testimonies and state of the art activities to help us feel a part of the history.

The highlight of our trip was traveling north to the beautiful emek ha’mayanot where gorgeous nature and fresh water cooled our bodies and soothed our minds.

After swimming, it was time for a pizza dinner in Beit Sha’an next to an ancient Roman amphitheater.

We ended off the day by giving thanks and counting our brachot to the note of the guitar of our guide Kalman.

Can’t think of a better way to go into the new year…
כתיבה וחתימה טובה לכל עם ישראל!!
