עמותת אומ"ץ – מרכז אמונה ומצוינות
עמותת אומ"ץ (אמונה ומצוינות) הוקמה בשנת 2015 על ידי דוד ווצלר, איש חינוך הפועל בתחום החינוך מאז שנת 1998 ובתחום המחוננים והמצטיינים מאז שנת 2003.
העמותה נוסדה מתוך הכרה בצורך להעניק לילדות, לילדים ולבני נוער מחוננים ומצטיינים מהמגזרים החרדיים, החסידיים, החב"דיים, החרד"ליים, התורניים והדתיים, מסגרת מצוינות אקדמית ברמה גבוהה, המשלבת ידע, מחקר, חדשנות וחשיבה פורצת דרך לצד אמונה, ערכים ואחריות חברתית.
העמותה מפעילה את אקדמיית ברקת – מרכז מצוינות ייחודי, אשר בשנת הלימודים תשפ"ו (2025–2026) ציין 12 שנות פעילות חינוכית רציפה. האקדמיה מעניקה לתלמידיה הזדמנות להיחשף לעולמות המדע, הטכנולוגיה, ההנדסה, הרפואה, הבינה המלאכותית, החלל, המחקר, מדעי החברה והרוח, הכלכלה, המשפט, הביטחון הלאומי, השפות והאמנויות.
במהלך שנות פעילותה השתתפו בתוכניות העמותה למעלה מ־800 תלמידות ותלמידים מחוננים ומצטיינים מישראל ומקהילות יהודיות ברחבי העולם.
התוכניות מועברות על ידי בעלי תואר שני, דוקטורנטים, דוקטורים, פוסט־דוקטורים, חוקרים, אנשי אקדמיה, מומחי תעשייה ואנשי מקצוע מובילים בתחומם, מתוך מטרה לאפשר לתלמידים להיחשף כבר בגיל צעיר לעולמות הידע המתקדמים ביותר ולהתפתח בהתאם ליכולותיהם יוצאות הדופן.
בשנת 2018 הייתה העמותה חלק מפרס החינוך הארצי שבו זכתה המועצה האזורית נחל שורק. עבור העמותה היה זה מקור לגאווה ולכבוד גדול להיות שותפה לעשייה חינוכית איכותית שזכתה להכרה ברמה הארצית.
ייחודה של העמותה טמון ביכולתה לשלב בין מצוינות אקדמית ברמה גבוהה לבין התאמה תרבותית מלאה לאורח חייהן של משפחות מהמגזרים החרדיים, החסידיים, החב"דיים, החרד"ליים, התורניים והדתיים.

Ometz – Center for Faith and Excellence
Ometz (Faith and Excellence) was founded in 2015 by David Vetzler, an educator who has been active in the field of education since 1998 and in gifted and talented education since 2003. The organization was established in response to the need for a high-level academic excellence framework for gifted and talented girls, boys, and youth from Haredi, Hasidic, Chabad, Hardal, Torah-oriented, and Religious communities. Its programs combine knowledge, research, innovation, and forward-thinking education with faith, values, and social responsibility. Ometz operates Bareket Academy, a unique center of excellence that marked 12 consecutive years of educational activity during the 2025–2026 academic year. The Academy provides students with opportunities to explore a wide range of disciplines, including science, technology, engineering, medicine, artificial intelligence, space studies, research, social sciences and humanities, economics, law, national security, languages, and the arts. Over the years, more than 800 gifted and talented students from Israel and Jewish communities around the world have participated in the organization’s programs. The programs are taught by master's degree holders, doctoral candidates, Ph.D. holders, postdoctoral researchers, academic researchers, university faculty members, industry experts, and leading professionals in their respective fields. Their shared mission is to expose students, from an early age, to the most advanced frontiers of knowledge and to help them develop their exceptional abilities to their fullest potential. In 2018, the organization was part of the National Education Prize recognition awarded to the Nahal Sorek Regional Council. For Ometz, this was a source of great pride and honor, reflecting its participation in educational excellence that received national recognition. The uniqueness of Ometz lies in its ability to combine high-level academic excellence with full cultural sensitivity and adaptation to the lifestyles and values of families from Haredi, Hasidic, Chabad, Hardal, Torah-oriented, and Religious communities. Ometz views the development of Israel’s human capital as a national mission.
