We would like to send a huge "thank you" to all of our supporters as we share with you a picture from our emotionally charged graduation ceremony last night. The young men, who were previously identified as "at-risk youth" by the Child Welfare Department, received their diplomas from their ecstatic principal and are now all heading to either pre-miiltary academies, army service or combined academic and army programs.

We are very proud of our Mishkenotecha Yisrael students who started ninth grade four years.
This past Motzaei Shabbat they became the first graduating class of this flagship program integrating secular studies into a Hareidi high school program.
Mazal tov to all our graduates!

This week we celebrate a special Bar Mitzvah of a 7th grade student who, at the age of 4, was evacuated, together with his family, from Gush Katif in Gaza. He is the youngest of 6 children being raised by a single mother, with the oldest currently serving in the army. The family, lacking the means to make even a simple Bar Mitzvah party, have been invited to bring 40 guests to join his classmates for a festive dinner on campus.

Students at the Beit Shemesh Educational Center enjoy one of many annual "tiulim" (trips) out of the city last week.
The boys came back to their regular studies with their "batteries boosted."

The Beit Shemesh Educational Center is pleased to host hundreds of teenagers from towns close to the border with Gaza.
The students together with their teachers are currently living in our dormitories and learning in our classrooms to give them a break from the constant missiles falling on their hometowns.
