Baruch Hashem, it’s been an amazing year at Studio Musikef!
From our joyful Chanukah and Purim celebrations at Melabev Senior Center, to our exciting Mid-Year and End-of-Year recitals, to our heartwarming musical visits at Sha’arei Tzedek Hospital—this year has been bursting with music and smiles!
And for the very first time… we proudly participated in the Jerusalem Marathon, raising money for Keren Or with our very own Marching Band!!

Mazal tov to all my students who performed in our end of year recital last night! 👏👏👏 This is just a small portion of the students I worked with this year as I make participation in the concert optional, but I firmly believe the ones brave enough to perform gain a lot from the experience. In addition to having some closure and celebrating them for their commitment, it puts them through the experience of working towards a goal and feeling the innate reward and accomplishment that goes along with that. Even with imperfect performances, and EVERYONE has imperfect performances, there's something about coming out on the other side, when it's all over, with all their limbs and organs intact that builds their resilience and self-respect. Thank you to Judy Clark of Studio Musikef for hosting these recitals every year and supporting me as my mentor for the last *nine* 😱 years, to the parents who place their trust in me to guide their children without traumatizing them, and to my unborn child who agreed to stay unborn long enough to make the evening possible. My "due date," is in two weeks. This was not a given! *Breathes immense sigh of relief* 😅
