הכירו את אורי סלומון, סטודנטית שלנו, שחזרה לא מזמן משלושה חודשים מרתקים ב-CERN - מרכז המחקר הגדול בעולם לחקר חלקיקים שנמצא בז'נבה!

במסגרת תוכנית הקיץ היוקרתית Summer Student Program, אורי פיתחה מערכת לניטור פרמטרים בגלאי חלקיקים מבוססי גז - לחות, אחוז חמצן, לחץ וזרם. את אורי ליווה פרופ' צבי ציטרון מהמחלקה שלנו, שמוביל קבוצת המחקר ב-CERN הבוחנת גלאים חדשים למאיץ החלקיקים LHC.
