Ariel University had the honor of hosting United State's Congressmen Scott Tipton (Colorado) and David B. McKinley (West Virgina) during their recent trip to Israel. Their fact finding mission to Israel was sponsored by Proclaiming Justice to the Nations and facilitated on the ground by Jaffe Strategies.
“It’s awesome to come to Israel and to see that progress is made,” said McKinley. “Scott and I have been coming here for several years and one of the particular stops we wanted to make was to Ariel University.”
“We see this as an up and coming university, one that is trying to do more research and we want to see more partnerships with America,” he added.

ד"ר יינג צונג מה, פוסט דוקטורנט ברובוטיקה ומכוניות אוטונומיות באוניברסיטה, החליט להגיע מסין לאריאל עם אשתו ובתו לפני שנתיים לצורך מחקר. לפני 8 חודשים נולד למה ואשתו בן והם החליטו לקרוא לו "אריאל" על שם העיר.
לכבוד ראש השנה הסיני שחל השבוע אנו מאחלים לד"ר יינג צ'ונג מה ומשפחתו שנה טובה והמשך שהייה פורה באריאל.

January 18th, 2017 – ARIEL
Ariel University's School of Architecture Happening had first year students from the School of Architecture divide into teams of 5 and choose an architect and teach the architectural typology through an interactive display. Students participated in this real-scale experiment using recycled materials, manual and electrical tools. The students were limited to 2X2 meter displays but were not limited on the height or types of materials used. Each team used materials that reflected the design of the architect. This allowed students to use plaster, wood, metal and apply their own take on the traditional design of their chosen architect. Students were evaluated by their design, research shared about the designer (each booth provided a hand-out on the background of their chosen architect).
18 stalls were created and on display through the University’s architecture building reflecting the style of Antonio Gaudi, Frank Gehry, Frank Llyod Wright, Santiago Calatrava, Zaha Hadid, Mario Botta, Zvi Hecker, and more. The event was attended by the student community as well as interested members of the public and were greeted with a lively event showcasing the students work.
