Tir na Nog Preschool

From frog spawn, to tadpoles and then froglets. Wonderful learning opportunities learning the life cycle of the frog.
The froglets have now been returned to their original pond.🐸

Garda Tom from Youghal Garda Station visited us today, he chatted about The Safe Cross Code, crossing the road safely and spoke about the importance of using our car seats and always wearing safety belts while sitting in the back of the car. Lots of fun with his hat and trying on handcuffs and the highlight of the day was sitting in the Garda car and listening to the siren 🚨. Thank you Garda Tom.

We are so lucky to have a wonderful supportive community in Youghal. Today Youghal Coast Guard unit , Donna Savage , Billy and Andrew visited us at the preschool. They taught us about Water Safety and had lots of hands on learning. We can't wait to see the helicopter some day!Thank you all for a great visit which we really appreciated.

Today we had a special visit from Firemen George and Ray@Youghal Fire and Rescue Service.

Making flags and head bands for the parade, stories about Goldie, the Leprechauns dog, rainbows and pots of gold, songs, poems and our lovely shamrock.
We went on a walk around our estate today on our own mini parade celebrating our heritage.

National Pyjama Day.

Today our children had "the best pyjama day ever" to quote one of our children!! Lots of fun, games, songs, stories and fun in our PJs and having breakfast at preschool with friends. Thanks to all the families for your donations, really much appreciated for this National Fundraising event.
