CCM welcomes our First Years
Today all 8 tutor groups completed their first day of school in CCM. During the day students participated in our school induction programme led by our Pastoral Care team and our Senior Mentor team. This has been a very positive start to life in CCM with the students participating in tutorials in the morning and activities to support knowledge of their new surroundings in the afternoon; congratulations to all involved.

Taílteann Cup 2026 Success
Congratulations to our very own Mr Eoin Darcy, a member of our teaching team in CCM, our past pupil Malachy Stone, Captain Dean Healy (DLS) and the Wicklow team on their success last Saturday in capturing the Taílteann Cup 2026.
After a nail-biting game, Wicklow burst into life in the second half to stun Down by the final whistle.

Senior Awards Day 2026 🎉
Today we celebrated the incredible achievements, commitment and spirit of our Senior students. The ceremony began with a thoughtful and reflective address from our Head Boy and Head Girl, setting the tone for a wonderful occasion.

👏 Congratulations to all students who received Perfect Attendance Awards. Consistent attendance is so important in building strong habits, resilience and giving students every opportunity to succeed both academically and personally.

🏅 We were delighted to present the Gradam an Coláiste awards to students who have embraced the advice and encouragement of their teachers to pursue personal and academic growth throughout the year.

⭐ Our Spirit Award recipients were recognised for embodying and developing the spirit of their year group through kindness, leadership, positivity and school pride.

6th Year Graduation
On Wednesday, we said goodbye to our beloved 6th Year students at their graduation, a night of reminiscing, celebrating and looking forward to what's ahead. Everyone looking stunning, dressed in their finest! It was truly a night to be remembered with speeches from our head boy, Killian Keane, and head girl, Caoimhe Doherty and Year Heads, Mr McInerney and Ms Davoren, and Principal, Mr Donoghue. We heard some lovely musical pieces from our graduating students, Mark O'Shea, Alexi Xanthea Mendez, Samuel Adekunle, Joel Manyara, Michaela Hunarova, Jill Corrigan, Patrick Varghese, Isaac Conway and Alex Coburn. Each student was presented with a graduation certificate from the school and photo and pen to commemorate their time here. As a school community, we are all so proud of the young adults you have become and we look forward to see where you are all headed next- whether into work, travelling the world, college or an apprenticeship. Thanks for a wonderful six years and best of luck in your futures!

Leinster Schools Track and Field

A big congratulations to Charlie Seery Frier winning gold in the Junior Boys short hurdles and a strong 2nd place finish in the 200m taking silver at the Leinster Schools Track and Field championships in Tullamore.

This is a great achievement. Leinster schools is the most competitive school athletics event in the province featuring top athletes from all around Leinster.

The top two athletes qualify to compete at the National championships in less than two weeks' time. Charlie has qualified to represent CCM in both events!!

We wish Charlie the best of luck at the National Championships. ☘️ An exciting summer of racing ahead!
