It's Christmas Concert time already! Time is flying by.
Our Christmas concert workshops are being held on Saturday, 7th December at 3.30pm and on Sunday, 8th December at 11am and 4pm. Room 21 will be festively decorated so Christmas hats, jumpers and tinsel ties are all welcome, even encouraged!

As these are concert workshops, if your child just wants to play a scale, we would be thrilled to hear it. Just being there and practicing a bit of stage presence is so good for students studying an instrument. The tutors will be able to give students advice on how to address the audience, hold their music and take a bow.

We would love to have as many family members present as possible so bring all the family and be prepared to join in some singing.

Rachel is holding our next workshop on Performance Preparation this coming Saturday. This will be a chance for students to come and play their instruments/sing and get some feedback. It is a great opportunity for students preparing for the Christmas Concerts and for those who are taking exams (whether they are state exams or music board exams).

Workshop Series - Performance Preparation
with Rachel Factor
Saturday, 23rd Nov at 3.30pm in EGS, Room 21

This will be an informal and relaxed performance practice for students to come and play their instruments/sing and get some feedback. It is a great opportunity for students preparing for the Christmas Concerts and for those who are taking exams (whether they are state exams or music board exams).

Rachel Factor is an accomplished professional artist who has taught piano for WSMD for 23 years. Rachel is also an examiner for RIAM music exams.

Our end-of-year Presentation Concerts take place on Saturday, 18th and Sunday, 19th May. In preparation for these Tomas will hold a workshop on Concert Preparation on Wednesday, 15th May at 6.30pm. This will be a great help to all those taking part, especially if they are a little nervous.
