🌱🍓 A Busy and Exciting May at Preschool! 🍓🌱
May was a wonderful month filled with learning, growing, and lots of fun here at preschool!
Our little gardeners have been busy planting and caring for our garden. The children loved watching their hard work come to life as our vegetables and flowers continued to grow. One of the highlights was harvesting and tasting our delicious homegrown lettuce – it was a huge hit with everyone! We were also delighted to send home potatoes that the children had grown themselves, giving them a real sense of achievement and pride.
Our flower beds are thriving and will soon be bursting with beautiful colours. The children are especially excited about our strawberry plant, which has started to produce strawberries! 🍓 We can't wait to watch them ripen and enjoy tasting them in the weeks ahead.
Another special event this month was our fantastic Sports Day. The children had an amazing day taking part in a variety of fun activities, games, and races. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and great teamwork on display throughout the day. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Tommy for being our wonderful coach for the day and to Roundwood AFC for generously allowing us the use of their excellent facilities. Your support helped make the day such a memorable experience for all of the children.
As we move into June, we are now busy preparing for our Graduation. It is a very special time of year as we celebrate all that the children have learned and achieved. We are looking forward to marking this important milestone and creating wonderful memories with our preschool graduates and their families. 🎓😀
