All back and settling in to The Children’s House Preschool. Fourth morning and all our happy children walked in the front door, donned the wellies and went straight out the back door. Playing outside and making learning fun, relaxed, playful and meaningful for everyone. Looking forward to another year of learning and supporting children to become competent, capable learners through play.

As we get ready for another fun school year at The Children's House Preschool we also have an opportunity for someone to join our team in September. Sensory bottles, volcanoes, vets, insects, baking cake, making soup, building dens and houses, going on picnics, adding to the glue table are just a few things you can expect to be doing if you call to visit.

We have been so busy at The Children's House Preschool since we came back after Easter. The Children's interests are keeping us on the go! Insects, snails and worms are ongoing interests. We made a snail enclosure and for 3 days watched the snail and then put him back where we found him.

Topics the children have been really interested in recently are: rugby, Spring, insects, animals, digging, transporting, building, shopping and money, role play, family, vegatable shop. We made soup. We collect things regularly from the garden and use them in our art station. All our activities are based around the Children's interests and with their social and overall development in mind. What a fun preschool to be at every morning!
