The graduation ceremony for 6th class students occurred yesterday, distinguished by various emotional instances, with Big Noisy 99's expression of gratitude standing out as particularly exciting for all students. We got the perfect weather for sports day the kids had a ball they had 16 different activities and the nicest two where the smoothie stand and the fruit stall.

What a jam packed week the kids are having and glorious weather active week is in full swing with cycle to school today, dancing with Johnny and some cricket 🏏.
Yesterday our athletes headed to Rosslare to represented the school and came home with a marvellous haul of medals 🏅 well done to everyone involved while the rest of the school played camogie, hurling and dance 🕺.
Monday everyone had rugby 🏉. Tomorrow brings yoga and other activities while Friday is the big one sports day.

The boys from Our Lady's Island and Mayglass National Schools celebrated their victory in the Rackard League's District and County Finals in style last night. Following their wins, they were awarded gold medals 🏅 and a beautifully framed team photo from the County Final held at Wexford Park. The celebration was attended by players from the 1994 and 1997 winning teams, and we extend our gratitude to them for their presence. Refreshments, including delicious home-baked treats provided by the parents' associations of both schools, added to the festive atmosphere. It's heartening to witness such excellent collaboration between the two schools, resulting in a memorable evening. We look forward to future joint endeavors and congratulate the boys on their achievement. Lastly, we'd like to express our sincere appreciation to the coaches, teachers, principals, parents' associations, and especially Our Lady's Island Community Coffee Shop for generously allowing us to use their facilities.
