As we continue to keep Aóibheann’s family and friends in our thoughts and prayers, the
school will hold a short Prayer Service in memory of Aóibheann on Friday, 7 August at 12
noon. We invite students, parents and members of the wider community to attend if they so
wish. The service will be an opportunity for prayer and quiet reflection. It will be led by our
Chaplains and school staff. Refreshments will be available afterwards.
The school will be open to students on Friday, 7 August between 10 am and 4 pm. It will also
be open on Saturday, 8 August between 10 am and 2 pm for those who wish to avail of
support or come together in a quiet space.
John Mc Ginnity,
Principal.

Congratulations to Caitlin and Shannon Griffith, who travelled to the UK last weekend to represent Ireland at the Pony Club Junior International Tetrathlon in Morton Morrell.

Representing Ireland for the second year running, Caitlin and her team finished second overall in the girls’ team competition, while Caitlin placed seventh individually.

Having represented Ireland in the International Minimus competition at Oxstalls last year, Shannon stepped up to the Junior ranks this year and, with her team, finished ninth overall.

After months of hard work, training and preparation, both girls had an amazing weekend proudly representing Ireland.
