Here's another little video of the class being super busy in their play. Sometimes its nice to play independently and have a little quiet time by yourself. Its nice to explore all the toys and resources that Playschool has to offer 💙💖

The end of September is fast approaching. So what have the children at Laugh and Learn been getting up? Well they have simply been playing. Playing together and building friendships. Learning eachothers names and their teachers names. Getting to know how their morning flows in Playschool. Sussing out where everything is and what areas they like best. They have been settling in! 💖💙🥰

Along with this current position that we have at our service, we are also looking for people who would be interested in being on our relief panel. Candidates would need to have Level 5 in childcare. 😊

Last week we decided enough was enough! This rain and bad weather has been hanging around for far too long. We made a beautiful big Sun for our wall and a white fluffy cloud. The children are adding some lovely rainbows to the wall. We have our daily songs to sing in a bid to welcome dryer weather. Here's hoping all our positivity wins 🌥🌤⛅️🌞☀️🌥🌤🌞☀️

Last week, we burst into Sea Life. After reading the story The Snail and the Whale, there was lots of chat about whales and sharks. So off we went to explore life under the sea 🐋🦈🐬🐠🐡

We started by setting up a small world play area for the children. The kids painted a towel by using blue paint and tin-foil balls. We think it turned out great!
And we had great hands-on fun at our sensory tables. We had sea animals and blue foam at the tuff tray, followed by a beach setting with mini animals frozen in ice cubes. And of course we had a water play station with the animals too.

We upgraded our library walls 😍

Our class has really enjoyed our box set of books based on Spot the Dog. The books have been a circle time favourite.
"Are we having a Spot story today?"
"What's Spot going to be doing in the next book?"
So as a group, we have painted together, traced together, and cut out together. Every child had an opportunity to contribute to the project, and the results speak for themselves. 💕😍😊
