You don’t become confident and then take the leap; you take the leap, and confidence follows. 🙌

It’s one of the biggest misconceptions I hear as a life coach.

People often tell me, “I’ll do it when I feel ready.”

The truth is, most of us never feel completely ready. 🤷‍♀️

Whether it’s walking into a networking event on your own, starting a new business, changing careers, speaking in public, or simply believing you’re worthy of more; confidence isn’t the starting point.

Action is. 🙌

Every brave step teaches you something.
Every challenge expands your comfort zone.
Every conversation reminds you that you’re capable of more than you thought.

Growth doesn’t ask us to be fearless. It asks us to be willing.

So today, ask yourself…
What’s one small step your future self will thank you for?

You might just surprise yourself! 🥳🎈🌸

“Sometimes, good things fall apart so better things could fall together.” — Marilyn Monroe 🌸

As a life coach, I often meet people who feel they’re at a crossroads. A relationship ends, a career changes, a dream doesn’t work out the way they hoped, or life simply takes an unexpected turn. Our first instinct is often to see it as something falling apart.

But what if it’s actually making space for something better?

I’ve seen time and time again that our greatest growth often comes from the moments we never would have chosen. Those difficult seasons build resilience, reveal our strengths, and open doors we never imagined were there🎈

I’ve experienced it in my own life too. Some of the chapters I once questioned have led me to opportunities, friendships, and a sense of purpose I could never have planned.

As a coach, one of the greatest privileges is helping people shift their perspective from asking, “Why is this happening to me?” to “What is this trying to teach me?” That simple change can transform how we move through life’s challenges 🙌

So if life feels uncertain right now, trust that this chapter isn’t necessarily the end of the story. Sometimes what’s falling away is simply creating room for what’s truly meant for you.

Trust the process. Trust your strength. And most importantly, trust that sometimes the best chapters begin when we finally close the ones we’ve outgrown. 🥳🤗

“Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.” — George Addair 🎈

The older I get, the more I realise that growth doesn’t happen because life gets easier, it happens because we choose to do the things that stretch us.

Networking has taught me that more than anything else.

Walking into a room where you know no one can feel uncomfortable. Starting a conversation can feel daunting. Putting yourself forward for opportunities can make you question yourself. But every meaningful connection I’ve made has started with one small step outside my comfort zone 🙌

Here’s the thing: I don’t believe your comfort zone has to stay small 🎈

I think your comfort zone can become as big as you allow it to be. Every time you say yes to something that scares you just a little, every new conversation, every introduction, every opportunity you embrace, you’re expanding what feels possible🥳🎈

Before long, the things that once felt impossible become second nature!

Networking isn’t really about growing your contacts, it’s about growing yourself. The confidence, the resilience, the friendships, and the belief that you belong in every room you walk into 🤗

So if you’re hesitating today, take the first step anyway. You never know which conversation could change your life.

Growth begins where comfort ends but over time, your comfort grows too 🥳🌸

It has been one of those weeks that reminds me why I love what I do and why I feel so lucky to call New Ross my home 🏡

To be nominated to represent Network Ireland Wexford in the Networker of the Year category at the Network Ireland Women in Business Awards is an incredible honour. Networking, for me, has never been about collecting business cards or making sales. It’s about building genuine relationships, supporting one another, and creating a community where everyone has the opportunity to grow 🌸🎈

Last week, I had a very proud moment, not in business, but as a mum. Watching my daughter sing on South East Radio aboard the iconic Dunbrody Famine Ship was a reminder that our greatest achievements are often rooted in family. Family gives us our foundation, our confidence, and the courage to step forward into the world 🌍🥳

As I stood there, I couldn’t help but think about the story of New Ross itself. For centuries, this remarkable town has been built on connection. Once one of Ireland’s busiest medieval ports, New Ross welcomed merchants, travellers, and ideas from across the world. The Dunbrody tells the story of those who left these shores in search of hope, carrying with them resilience, courage, and a deep sense of community. Those stories still echo through our streets today.

That same spirit is alive in our town. It’s found in the people who champion local businesses, who volunteer their time, who support neighbours, who celebrate each other’s successes, and who know that when one of us succeeds, we all benefit.

Networking isn’t just something we do in business, it’s the heartbeat of every thriving community. It’s the conversations over coffee, the introductions that become friendships, the encouragement when someone needs it most, and the belief that together we are stronger.

New Ross may be a small town, but it is bursting with riches, not just in its incredible history, but in its people. And I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a community that continues to lift each other up every single day.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, to my family who are my greatest cheerleaders, and to Network Ireland Wexford for this wonderful nomination. Whatever happens next, I’m already incredibly grateful 🙏🎈☺️

Here’s to the power of family, friendship, networking, and community 🌸🤗🙌

Some of the best business conversations happen over a simple cup of coffee. ☕️

I caught up with Teri Morris morris.teri of ImpulseHub today. We’ve known each other for quite some time, so there was plenty of catching up, sharing ideas and talking about the months ahead☕️🤩

For me, this is what networking is really about🌱

It’s not simply exchanging business cards or making new contacts. It’s about building genuine relationships, getting to know and trust the people in your network, finding opportunities to collaborate, and looking within that network first when you need expertise or have work to pass on.

A few plans are quietly taking shape, and I’m excited to see where they lead.

Watch this space… 👀

Still loving these gorgeous flowers from Forever Florals by Isabelle which were given to all the winners and nominees at the Women In Business Awards Night 😍 they are still absolutely stunning a week later 🤩😍

It’s a week already! 🥳

I’m so grateful and genuinely honoured to have been chosen as Networker of the Year by Network Ireland Wexford 🎈🤩

A huge thank you to everyone at Network Ireland Wexford, and especially to Maura Bell for the beautiful words she shared during the presentation. They meant more than you know.

As a life coach, I always encourage my clients to celebrate the little wins as much as the big ones. We’re often so focused on the next goal that we forget to pause, reflect, and acknowledge just how far we’ve come.

So today, I’m taking my own advice. I’m celebrating this moment, feeling incredibly grateful, and allowing myself to be proud 🥹🎈

Here’s to women supporting women, the power of meaningful connections, and the magic that happens when we lift each other up. 💫

Just going through my goody bag from the Network Ireland Women in Business Awards 2026, and I’m genuinely blown away by the generosity of our members. A huge thank you to all the incredible women who contributed gifts to the goody bags, and to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle.

It’s yet another wonderful example of the kindness, generosity, and support that the Network Ireland Wexford community is built on 🎈🤩 It’s truly inspiring to be surrounded by so many women who are so willing to champion one another and give back so generously. This spirit of encouragement and collaboration is what makes being part of Network Ireland so special 🥳

Still smiling… and still a little bit in shock! 🤩✨

I am absolutely thrilled and deeply honoured to have been named Networker of the Year 2026 at the Network Ireland Wexford Businesswoman of the Year Awards.

This network has given me friendships, opportunities, encouragement and, most importantly, a community of incredible women who have supported me through both the highs and the difficult times in life, including the loss of my mum last year.

The theme this year is Building Bridges, and when I reflect on what networking means to me, it's exactly that – building genuine connections, lifting each other up, opening doors, and reminding one another that we're not doing this journey alone.

A huge thank you to our wonderful President, Roisin Leacy and our Vice President, Kathleen Kinsella. Truthfully, I probably wouldn't have entered without your encouragement, and now I am so glad I did 🤩

Thank you also to our fabulous MC, Maura Bell, who brought warmth, humour and little nuggets of wisdom throughout the evening, and to the Network Ireland National President Karen Ronan for celebrating women in business with such passion.

One of the most special moments of the evening was having my daughter Hayley Crosbie there singing at the reception before dinner and then watching me receive this award. As a mum, that was a real pinch-me moment and one I will treasure forever. ❤️
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners:
🏆Natasha Hughes – Businesswoman of the Year
🏆Bridget Crean – Emerging Business
🏆Verna Goff – Creative Professional
What a room full of supportive, inspiring and amazing women. I am so proud to be part of this community. Now, we are heading to Galway in September to represent our fabulous Wexford branch… and I couldn't be prouder.

Thank you, Network Ireland Wexford for reminding me once again that the magic really is in the connections we make and the bridges we build together. 🙌🎈
