Sunny Days Afterschool Est. in 2014. We now offer afterschool in Rathangan, Kilmore, Piercestown & The Faythe with Breakfast Clubs in our services in Kilmore & Piercestown.

We provide a quality and affordable service in a safe, stimulating and secure environment which is easily accessible for the school and it's surrounding areas. Within this service every child will be treated with respect and given freedom within the limits of a carefully structured environment to develop at his or her own pace. Awareness and sensitivity to the needs of each child is essential to t

he learning environment. Each child is a unique individual with different dispositions but every child wants to learn and to be independent.

Massive congratulations to Cara on her success over the weekend 🥳👏

Congratulations to our very own Cara who had amazing success in the Wexford County Fleadh Cheoil 2026 this weekend. Not only did Cara come first in two categories, under 12 piano and accompaniment, but she successfully defended her title in Under 12 accompaniment. This is no mean feat and we are delighted to see Cara reap the rewards of her hard work!!! A great week for Cara winning Rising stars with Piercestown National School and winning two trophies in the County Fleadh Cheoil. We love sharing the success stories of our pupils both inside and outside of school. We can't wait to congratulate her in person tomorrow.

Minimum 15hr per week contract. We are currently seeking Relief Staff for our service to cover holidays, sick days etc. across all 5 of our services.

The candidate will be required to -
-Assist in the care and supervision of the children
-Work with children from 4 to 13 yrs old
-Follow the policies and procedures of the service
-Participate in the daily cleaning routine
-Maintain confidentiality at all times
-Have good communication skills
-Have the ability to work on their own initiative and equally as part of a team
-Be capable of providing quality interactions with the children

Qualifications & experience preferred

The successful applicant will be required to provide 2 written references. This position is subject to mandatory garda vetting & relevant police checks where necessary.
