Congratulations to Ms. Walsh's 4th class who won 1st prize in a history project competition run by Wexford Borough Council. It was part of Wexford Walled Town Medieval Day.
Ms. Walsh, Craig and Julia accepted the prize from Mayor Vicky Barron. 🙂

Yesterday was a very special day for our school as Alfie’s campaign for subject gender equality in secondary schools made national news.

Last Monday, the News2Day crew visited our school to interview Alfie about his inspiring campaign and to hear his views on the importance of equality in subject choice for all students. Martha and Gabriel also shared their thoughts, and the Sixth Class pupils had great fun taking part in the filming while making pizza together.

It was a proud moment for everyone involved to see the story featured not only on News2Day, but also on the Six One News, highlighting an important issue that affects so many young people.

We are incredibly proud of Alfie for using his voice, and of all our Sixth Class pupils for representing our school so brilliantly. Well done to all involved! 🎥🎬🍕
