Peace Commissioners are required to sign statutory declarations in order to serve notice on tenants to vacate a rented dwelling. Please note that I am not available to sign such documents for the foreseeable future in my capacity as either a Peace Commissioner or Commissioner for Oaths.
I have arrived at this decision due to my concerns at further adding to the numbers of homeless especially young families.

Threshold – Preventing Homelessness. Threshold provides free, confidential advice and support to renters in Ireland with tenancy problems and those at risk of homelessness. We believe everyone has a Right to Home.
