We wanted it to be so much more than just a website—we wanted it to be a place where families could really get to know us, understand our philosophy, and see what makes Kickstart Family Hub so different.

💛 And that's a wrap on another wonderful year at Kickstart Preschool & Afterschool! 💛

What a truly fantastic way to finish our year with Sports Day today. The sun was shining, we had an amazing turnout, and seeing so many smiling faces enjoying the day together was the perfect ending to a very special year.

Over the past week, we have also celebrated our beautiful graduation ceremonies, and we couldn't be prouder of every single child. Their wonderful performances, big smiles and growing confidence filled us all with pride. They truly were the stars of the show! 🌟

To our children who are heading off to "big school" in September, our hearts are full of both pride and sadness. We will miss your smiling faces, your laughter and all the little moments that made each day so special. We know you are more than ready for your next adventure, and we feel incredibly honoured to have been a small part of your journey. We can't wait to hear all about your new adventures... and remember, once you're part of the Kickstart family, you'll always be part of the Kickstart family, so don't be strangers! ❤️

As we close our doors for the summer, we just want to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for your continued support, kindness and trust throughout the year. It has been such a peaceful, happy and memorable year, and we are so grateful to have shared it with you and your children.

Thank you also for the incredibly thoughtful cards, gifts and kind words we have received over the past few weeks. While they are never expected, they are so very much appreciated. The homemade cards, drawings and little handmade treasures will always hold a special place in our hearts. They are gifts that money simply can't buy, and we will treasure every single one of them. ❤️

Finally, to our incredible Kickstart team... thank you. Your dedication, kindness, patience and genuine love for every child shine through each and every day. You are the heart of Kickstart. Thank you for everything you do to make our preschool and afterschool such a happy, safe and nurturing place for children to learn, grow and belong.

Wishing all of our wonderful families a summer filled with sunshine, laughter, adventures and precious time together. Stay safe, make beautiful memories, and enjoy every moment.

☀️ Hot Weather Reminder & Graduations

With very warm temperatures expected over the next few days, we would kindly ask parents to help us keep all of our little ones safe and comfortable by:

💛 Applying sunscreen before arriving at preschool and having some sunscreen in the childrens bags for afterschool.
💛 Sending children in light, loose-fitting clothing.
💛 Providing a sun hat with their name clearly marked.
💛 Sending plenty of water or drinks to stay hydrated throughout the day.
💛 If you wish, you may also send in your child’s own sunscreen (clearly labelled with their name) for top-ups during the day.

🌊 We are planning lots of water play tomorrow to help everyone stay cool and enjoy the sunshine, so please dress children in old clothes that you don’t mind getting wet or messy!

We will be encouraging regular water breaks, making use of shaded areas and adapting activities throughout the day to ensure everyone stays cool, safe and happy.

🎓 Well done to all in our Toddler group who had a play and stay session to celebrate their first year in Preschool. We are also looking forward to celebrating all our graduations , We know some parents may be wondering about the warm weather, but we are pleased to confirm that the graduation will go ahead as planned. We would like to make a big shout out to The Backdrop Boutique for making us the most wonderful balloon arch. We can’t wait to celebrate this special milestone with our wonderful Joeys and their families today, Our Chimps class tomorrow and finally our Bunnies Class on Friday , finishing up our year in KiOra Farm for our annual Family Sports Day.. What an amazing week we have ahead of us.

I'm starting to explore the idea of creating a website for Kickstart Family Hub and would love some advice.

Has anyone worked with a local website designer they would recommend, or used a platform such as Wix or Squarespace and found it easy to manage themselves?

Looking for something simple, friendly and affordable.

☀️ A Little Holiday Notice ☀️

As are nearing the end of another wonderful preschool year and after getting the Family Hub up and running, I'm taking a short break to recharge and spend some time with my family.

It's been a full-on few months between preschool life and launching the Hub, so I'm really looking forward to a few days to switch off, relax and enjoy some quality family time. ❤️

I'm still around today, so if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch and I'll do my best to help before I head off. 😊

While I'm away, Kickstart Preschool & Afterschool will be in the very capable hands of our wonderful team. As always, the children will be well looked after and everything will continue as normal.

If you need anything while I'm away, please feel free to contact Ingrid or Lisa, who will be happy to help.

I won't be available to answer calls, texts or messages during my break, but I'll get back to anyone who contacts me as soon as possible when I return.

🌈 If you've been thinking about joining us at Kickstart Family Hub this summer, please feel free to send me a message before I head off. Our summer groups are filling up nicely and I'd be delighted to help you find the right fit for your child and family.
