🍽️ A taste of success at Youth Train CTC! ✨
At Youth Train, learners have the opportunity to develop new skills, gain qualifications and discover their strengths through a wide range of practical learning experiences working towards a major award at QQI level 4.
One example of this is our QQI Level 5 Meal Service module. Every year, our Career and Catering group take on the challenge of creating a professional training restaurant delivering their own menu - and this year was no exception.
Over the past few months, our learners have developed practical hospitality skills through menu planning, food preparation, presentation, customer service, communications and teamwork.
The training restaurant provides a real-life learning environment where learners can build confidence, develop new skills and experience the pride that comes from creating something they can be proud of.
We were delighted to welcome industry professionals as guests, giving our learners the opportunity to showcase their work, receive feedback and experience the standards expected in the hospitality sector.
A huge well done to everyone involved, and a special thank you to our industry guests for supporting and encouraging our learners.
