Highlights from the Summer Programme 2026 included a trip to Blackwater Farm, a Lego workshop, a 'Claymazing' workshop and a splash in the paddling pool! Huge thanks to all involved and we hope the pupils enjoyed themselves!🤸😍🎉

From Seeds to Success

What a journey since March! Our school garden has gone from bare beds to a thriving space full of life and learning.

Our pupils have dug, planted, watered, and weeded — building patience, responsibility, and pride in watching things grow.

This garden has given us so much more than vegetables:
- A calm space for wellbeing
- Hands-on learning in sustainability
- Real-world entrepreneurial thinking— growing, harvesting, and even exploring how to "sell" what they've grown

Exciting News for Screen NS! We're delighted to announce that Screen NS is partnering with Sherpa Kids Ireland to bring before and after school care to our school community from September. This service will be open to all children in our school, giving every family access to flexible, reliable care.
All programmes are eligible for the National Childcare Scheme (NCS)
More details on how to sign up will follow shortly - watch this space!👀

It is with deep sadness that we share the sudden passing of our much-loved pupil and friend, Grace Mahon.

Grace was an amazing friend to many in her class and in our school. She was an enthusiastic girl who was always full of joy. Grace always looked out for her friends and would often be found doing dance routines with them on the pitch.
She was a fantastic student to all who taught her and she will be greatly missed and forever remembered by our school community.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Noah, Cara, Dave and all of Grace's family and friends at this heartbreaking time.

May She Rest in Peace.

As a mark of respect to our cherished friend and pupil, Screen N.S will be closed on Friday 5th of June.
