The Board of Management is delighted to welcome Mr John Hegarty to his role as Principal of Wexford CBS.

Mr Hegarty has previously been a teacher and a Deputy Principal here in CBS and we wish him the best of luck in his new position.

We wish all of last year's 6th class pupils the very best of good luck as they take their next steps into secondary school. Enjoy every second, as the students receiving their Leaving Cert results will tell you it goes quickly. If you don't get all that you hoped for remember it is just another twist and turn on the road of life. You have the most valuable thing, that is time. Another amazing achievement by Alex. Keep an eye out in the future he will definitely be representing Ireland at international track meets. We are very proud of you Alex. 🖤❤️

A big weekend of competition for our athletes

First up were the All-Ireland Championships in Tullamore, where our sprinter boys took to the track in the 200m. Alex competed in the U14 event, while Rohan lined out in the U19 category.

Alex has enjoyed an outstanding season, and he continued that form by easing through his heat to reach the final. In a thrilling finish, he was just pipped on the line, claiming a fantastic All-Ireland silver medal. A tremendous achievement at this level, well done, Alex
Rohan ran a strong race, finishing 5th in his heat. This marked his final race in juvenile competition. He continues to get stronger with each season, and we're excited to see what the future holds as he moves on to the next stage of his athletics journey.
A huge well done to both boys.

A special shout-out to our Sprints & Jumps group and their coach, Ronnie. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment are paying off, and it's fantastic to see those efforts rewarded on the national stage.
