Welcome to Scoil Mhuire Parents’ Association new page. The Parents’ Association is made up of all parents in the school, and works to improve every child’s learning experience in our school. The association is a great way for parents to get involved in their child's school life. Scoil Mhuire is proud to have an active Parents’ Association Committee which meets monthly. Our mission is to w
ork with the school and all parents towards the best possible education for our children. With the help of volunteers, the association supports the school through fundraising and promoting active parental involvement in children’s education. Activities Would/Have Included:
*Organising fundraising efforts (e.g Annual raffle and bake sale)
*Helping to support the music, drama and art programmes
*Church gate collections
*Helping to support teachers and kids on sports day
*Organising expert speakers to give talk to parents - various topics
*Reviewing of school policies. The Parents' Association is not just about fundraising. We are always seeking ways that we can enhance our children's learning environment in the school. By bringing our thoughts and talents together we can achieve so much more for our school and our children. Would you like to help out as a volunteer? Do you have a great idea? Are you an expert who could give a talk to the parents or the kids in our school? If interested or available for any of the above or for a list of the current committee members and our constitution, please ask at the school reception.
