We were delighted to attend the Wexford CBS Annual Awards Night 2026 at the Riverbank House Hotel this evening. It was a fantastic celebration of student achievement and a wonderful opportunity to recognise the talent, commitment and community spirit within the school.

Past pupil Kevin Doyle, professional soccer player and physiotherapist who runs his own physiotherapy business in the UK, addressed the audience and shared fond memories of his time at Wexford CBS. He encouraged students to never put limitations on themselves, to embrace every opportunity and to recognise that mistakes are an important part of learning. His message was simple: you win or you learn. He also highlighted the importance of the three Es: effort, energy and enthusiasm.

Congratulations to Sean Parle and Eoghan Lynch, who jointly received the 2026 PPA Student of the Year Award for achieving the maximum 625 points in their Leaving Certificate examinations at Wexford CBS. A special well done also to Tiernan Crotty, who received the PPA Special Recognition Award for achieving over 600 points in his Leaving Certificate.

Sean is now studying at UCD, while Eoghan and Tiernan are both studying at Trinity College Dublin. We wish all three every success in their studies and future careers.

The PPA is proud to celebrate the achievements of our past pupils and looks forward to maintaining these connections with the next generation of Wexford CBS graduates👏🏻
