Throwback to last years Golf Classic ⛳️

In the run up to the Wexford CBS Past Pupils’ Association Annual Golf Classic, which takes place on Friday 3rd of July, we will be continuing our competition for current Wexford CBS students ⛳️

To win one free student team entry, you can enter by following the PPA on Instagram and entering your name on the daily question box on our stories. Good luck everybody 🤞🏻

️This event is open to everyone, not just past pupils. With that in mind, it would be great if you could promote the event and enter a team if you’re interested.

It is €200 for a team of 4 adults to take part, which includes food at Slice - Wexford Golf Club (if you don’t have a full team, let us know and we’ll fit you in). Special rate of €140 for a team of 4 school students.

The event will follow a scramble format, with both GUI and Non-GUI sections, so all abilities are catered for!

To celebrate the launch of the Wexford CBS Past Pupils’ Association Annual Golf Classic, which takes place on Friday 3rd of July, we will be running a competition for current Wexford CBS students starting Tuesday in school ⛳️

Another very successful PPA 7-a-side tournament was held on the Wexford CBS Astro Pitch today, continuing to grow year on year with an impressive 21 teams taking part 👏🏻

It was brilliant to see such a strong mix of past pupils, current students and friends of Wexford CBS coming together for a great day of football ⚽️

Congratulations to Town FC, who edged out JMAC FC with a narrow 1–0 victory in a closely contested final. We are extremely proud of how much this event has grown and the community spirit it continues to create 🤩

A huge thank you to Liam Sinnott of Sinnott’s Bar for sponsoring this year’s event. We’re already looking forward to next year ⚽️👏🏻

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and all the best for 2026🎄🎅

We are delighted to announce all teams and fixtures for our 7-a-side on Sunday ⚽️ First game kicks off at 11:30. Please be there in time to register before your teams first game to ensure the smooth running of the day.

We are looking forward to meeting all teams on Sunday! Please make sure to wear shin guards. Spectators are also welcome, it would be great to see you all there 🙌☺️
Parking will be available in the school car park!

PPA 7-A-Side - only one week to go! 🥳

Congratulations to the winners of a free student entry into our PPA 7-A-Side on Sunday 28th of December ⚽️

There are currently 18 teams entered, team entries will close at 4pm on Tuesday 23rd of December. We won’t be taking entries after this time.

Our Christmas Charity Swim will take place in Curracloe on St Stephen’s Day at 10:30am, with all funds this year going to Wexford Marine Watch and Wexford Women’s Refuge 🤩

If any student or staff member would like to take part in the swim, there will be a short information meeting on Tuesday 16th December at 10:50am in Room 34, where you can find out more and collect sponsorship cards.
