Thankyou to Garda Connor and Garda Aidan for visiting us at Tina's Playschool this morning with the Garda van.
We had so much fun trying on their uniform and investigating the Garda van. We learnt that the Gardai are our friends and we can always ask them for help 🥰.

A fantastic €2,020 raised for West Waterford Support group at Tina's Playschool and Afterschool service this morning.

A big thankyou to Scoil Mhuire for your support, Kenneth's for the balloons and Steve from X35 for the very generous donation.

Thankyou to all of our amazing families, neighbours and community for making our cake sale such a huge success 😍

Last week we thought we were very clever using popcorn to show the children how we can use all 5 of our senses during one activity. That was until one child suggested we should see if we can also use all five of our senses to eat Ice-Cream 🥳

Of course we had to agree. We used an Oobleck mix along with sprinkles and utensils in our tuff tray to practice making ice-creams. Children's fascination with the unique texture of Oobleck is always fun to observe.

Next we set up our Ice-Cream shop with lots of choices available to the children, which all three of our pre-school sessions enjoyed.

We had enough Ice-cream left for our junior and senior infants who couldn't believe their luck of a Thursday 🤩 Followed by a Quiz, won by the girls team. We had a great afternoon. 'Best day ever' we hear 🥰

We are delighted to announce that this year our annual cake sale will be in aid of 'West Waterford Hospice Support Group'.

The dedicated volunteer group fundraise for palliative care, serving West Waterford and Dungarvan regions. We are thrilled to be able to support the group in the amazing work they do amongst our community.

We would be delighted to see as many of you as possible on Thursday 28th May ❤️
