The Literacy Development Centre (LDC) provides third level qualifications for those working in the fields of adult literacy and adult and further education
The Literacy Development Centre (LDC) at WIT provides third level qualifications in adult literacy and adult education for managers/tutors working in adult literacy, and for FE practitioners working in literacy support, at a number of centres around Ireland. The LDC incorporates the NALA/WIT accreditation project and is part-funded by SOLAS. LDC courses are designed to equip practitioners with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to support professional practice.
