After teaching guitar in both Waterford and London for over 15 years. We strive to provide the very best quality one to one guitar lessons, working with each student to create a custom curriculum that allows each student to achieve their musical goals in a comfortable fun and easy going environment. We believe learning guitar should be enjoyable and rewarding and experience has shown that students
that are comfortable and enjoying themselves progress much faster. We can also work with junior cert or leaving cert students and build a course to go along with national curriculum to ensure the student absorbs the maximum amount of practical information. Lessons can also be provided in students own homes within a certain catchment area. Having achieved my B.A in music I'm more than equipped to teach all levels of student from complete beginners to advanced guitarist looking to broaden their horizons. I cover a wide range of styles from classical to jazz, rock, finger-style, funk and metal. Aswell as covering theory, sight reading, arpeggios and modal playing. I specialize in breaking down advanced musical ideas into easily understandable and practical usable information that relates to each students abilities. We are conveniently located in South Parade in the centre of the city which is easily accesible with plenty of parking at the rear and just next to St. Declans, Waterpark,Newtown and De la Salle Schools. We keep several guitars in the studio so students don't even need to bring their own instrument if its an issue.
