Waterford GAA/Déise Óg Coaching Officers Breakfast Workshop - Saturday February 14th, The Park Hotel, Dungarvan
Waterford GAA/Déise Óg are delighted to invite your club members to a Coaching Officers Breakfast Workshop on Saturday February 14th from 10:00am to 12:30pm in The Park Hotel, Dungarvan.
A light breakfast will be served on arrival for all attendees from 9:30am.
PLEASE NOTE PLACES AT THE WORKSHOP ARE LIMITED SO EARLY BOOKING IS ADVISED.
The theme of this years Workshop is ‘The Engine Room’ and will highlight how the Club Coaching Officer is at the centre of player and coach development in GAA clubs.
This will be an informative and enjoyable session and we are inviting all coaching officers from clubs across the county along with fellow club executive members to attend.
It is important that each club has representation at the event and that the coaching officer, club chairperson and club secretary (adult and/or juvenile) attend.
If there are others in your club with an interest in coaching structures or creating a coaching plan they are more than welcome to attend also.
Speakers on the day will include:
- Brian Cuthbert (Bishopstown GAA/former Cork senior football manager)
- Neil Moore (Waterford GAA Chairman)
- Conor Mulhall (Waterford GAA County Coaching Officer)
This workshop will examine effective coaching structures within your GAA Club and highlight how the Club Coaching Officer is in the ‘Engine Room’ of coach and player development in your clubs. We will reflect on items that were discussed at last year’s workshop and help clubs put a coaching ‘road map’ together for 2026.
Tea/coffee and breakfast will be served to all attendees on arrival. This event is FREE to attend but prebooking your place is essential. You can book your place at the below link and I would advise booking as early as possible as places are limited.

DÉISE ÓG U12 'FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL' 2025 - SAT AUG 23RD, SUN AUG 24TH AND TUES AUG 26TH
The U12 Gaelic football season reaches it's exciting climax over the next few days with the final matches of the players season taking place in venues all over the county.
There will be 13 top class games taking place in Lemybrien, SETU Arena, Bushy Park, De La Salle Gracedieu and Clashmore from Saturday through to Tuesday.
For some of our U12 footballers this will be their last time playing 'Go Games' before moving on to playing in exclusively Bord na nÓg matches from next year.
We hope they have learned, developed and enjoyed their time playing Go Games over the last 6/7 years and we would love to see huge crowds attend their games to mark this occasion.
Entry to all games is FREE and we are asking for supporters to give plenty of encouragement and show lots of positivity on the day - this day is all about the players and their families and we would expect everyone to remember this if games are tight.
Best of luck to all players and clubs on what will be a really enjoyable few days of Gaelic football.
