The 2 year programme is suitable for anyone who wants a solid foundation of knowledge in finance and accounting. It will provide you with all the technical skills and knowledge you need to perform an accounting support role and work at a technician level.
The programme will be delivered Tuesday and Thursday nights 6.30pm - 9.30pm.

The programme is run over 4 semesters of 12 weeks (Sept – Dec) and (Jan-May). It is run two nights a week - Tuesday and Thursdays (6.30pm-9.30pm).
This is a global qualification for those seeking a career in accounting and finance. It is also suitable for anyone currently within a finance role to achieve onward progression and advancement.

We are delighted to host our open evening for the ACCA Certified Accounting Technician in the Viking Hotel, Cork Road, Waterford at 7pm tomorrow 12th August 2019.
We are delighted to be offering this programme in association with Waterford Chamber Skillnet.
This is a two year part-time evening programme designed for those wishing to up-skill or commence a career in accounting. No previous experience or qualifications required.
The demand for accounting professionals continues to grow in the South East so start your ACCA journey now!
We have an ACCA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) evening course starting this autumn in Waterford Institute of Technology.
CAT is essentially a part-qualified Accounting qualification. It enables progression to the full Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification, while at the same time allowing candidates to work in middle management roles.
The programme will span two Academic Years, i.e. 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 - commencing in September 2019 and concluding in May 2021.
