To begin the new year, the 'Lismore Conversations That Matter' series - on 'Hope In A Time of Democratic Fragility' - continues on January 22nd at 8pm in the Lismore Heritage Centre.

Facilitated by Ian Hughes, author and Researcher at UCC, the theme will be 'Reimagining Society'. In this conversation, Ian will argue that a wholesale reimagining of politics, economics, technology, gender, education, and religion, is the historic challenge of our time, and explore how this might come about. If you are interested in any of these burning issues, you should come along and contribute to our latest 'Conversation That Matters'.

This series of conversations is an extension of the Department of Arts' 'Theology In The Public Square' series.

This event is free to attend and all are welcome.

For more information on what plans to be another interesting and informative series of conversations, please contact Philip Cremin at [email protected]
