Dear Parents, Guardians and Members of the Knockmahon National School Community,
We would like to make you aware that the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) has reopened its online application portal. This allows parents/guardians of neurodiverse children to upload relevant professional reports and apply for a Letter of Eligibility for enrolment in a special class.

Although Knockmahon NS has not yet received sanction to open a special class, it is important to note that a Letter of Eligibility, issued through the NCSE process by your local SENO, is required for any child seeking a place in a special class setting.

If you feel your child may need this type of provision, either at present or in the future, we strongly advise engaging with the NCSE process as soon as possible and ensuring all required steps are completed.

Knockmahon NS Christmas Fundraiser.
Dear friends and followers,
This Christmas our school is looking to fundraise to provide dance classes to our children. We have a selection of cards and creations made by staff and students of the school for sale in the Copper Coast Cafe in the Geopark. Huge thank you to Serenella Capelli for facilitating this. Cash only please and all proceeds go to support the school.
