RSL Awards drum exams today at WAMA 🥁
WAMA is proud to be an RSL Awards exam centre for the South East, with students working through a structured syllabus all year to build towards their exams today.
RSL Awards are academically rigorous, industry-relevant music qualifications, recognised the world over, and our drummers have been working hard rehearsing with their tutors Conor Walsh and Ron Barrios to get ready for this.

Waterford Local Enterprise Office have created a programme specifically for startup artisans, people with a brilliant product who are ready to take it to the next level. Five months of hands-on business training AND a cabin at Winterval 2026, trading in front of thousands of visitors across the festival right through the Christmas season 🎄
The training is built for Waterford artisan producers, not resellers. You'll learn how to identify your best products, price them right, set up a beautiful stall, and build a brand story that cuts through in a busy market. By the time Winterval opens its doors in November, you'll be ready to sell your artisan products to thousands of Winterval visitors 🥳

💙 Space Available For Anyone Affected By The Tycor Fire

Following the fire in Tycor, we know a lot of people and small businesses are trying to figure out next steps at the moment.

We’ve already been speaking to some friends affected, but wanted to put this out there in case it reaches someone we don’t know personally.

We have space available at The Arts Complex over the coming weeks that we’re happy to offer free of charge to anyone affected who may need somewhere to hold classes, run groups, rehearsals, meetings, or simply regroup while things are being sorted after the fire.

We have a mix of larger rooms, smaller rooms and studio space available during both the day and evenings and, where we can fit people in around our own schedule, we’ll do our best to help.

Our Summer Camps are the perfect opportunity for both existing students and new students to explore a wide range of exciting courses in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether your child already loves the arts, or is just starting out, this camp is a fantastic way to try something new and build confidence.

🎭 What to Expect
Fun is our focus! Throughout the week, students will sample a variety of classes before showcasing their talents in our Open Mic Concert in the Live Room Theatre — where every camper gets their moment on stage.

Our camps sell out every year, so early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.
