🎶🏆 National Success at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann! 🏆🎶

Four talented Waterford musicians took Belfast by storm at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann last week, claiming national titles across voice, concertina, button accordion and melodeon! 🇮🇪🎵

We are especially proud to celebrate the success of our past pupil, Iona Ritchie, from the Waterford City Comhaltas branch, who performed in the Senior Ladies English Singing Competition and achieved an incredible 2nd place at the national competition! 🥈👏

Congratulations, Iona, and to all the talented Waterford musicians on this fantastic achievement! 💚🎶

Huge congratulations to Declan Vandi, who was selected to represent both Ireland and Newtown School at the SIABS competition in Belfast last weekend — a fantastic achievement!

Declan came an impressive 5th in the 400m and helped secure 2nd place in the 4x400m relay.
