The world is melting. Billionaire bullies are hoarding wealth and are live-streaming themselves annihilating and degrading those who just want to live their lives in peace. Things feel more hopeless than ever, but now it's really the time to dig deep.
Be the change you wish to see, in whatever way that resonates with you. Joy is an act of resistance, and sustainable sewing brings me so much joy. I found a broken umbrella on the street at the end of last year. I decided to reuse the textile, and now I have a reversible tote. One which I could put over my head in the rain... In a pinch.

(I washed it first, as it was most likely covered in the p*e of a thousand dogs)

By far my biggest personal creative challenge to date. A wedding jumpsuit for this gorgeous creature.
She came with the idea, and I did my absolute very best to make it a reality. Truly, a dream client. A day full of love 💓

*I packed a spool of thread and needle in my bag on the way to the afters, so great was the anxiety 😂 (I didn't need them 🙌🏼)

Just your friendly Saturday reminder that you don't have to get new clothes! You can zhuzh (that's really how it's spelled) up the stuff you have. Case in point, a top I made about 5 years ago, and have NEVER worn.

I kept it because I spent hours on it, but it was a Golden Girls vibing, grannycore moment. Lilac? What was I thinking? I had clearly had a breakdown... Or the yarn was on sale.

A dash of dye later, and my inner Wednesday Addams is thrilled.
