To say that I'm absolutely devastated doesn't even cover how I feel at the moment. The unit in tycor business centre that has been the home of our club for the past few years, has been destroyed in yesterday's fire. Years of hard work gone in a blink of an eye. I would like to take the opportunity to thank waterford city fire services for their unwavering strength and bravery in battling the fire and for trying to save as many businesses as they could. To my fellow neighbouring businesses that have been struck by the same tragedy, we will grieve, cry then rebuild and come back even stronger. To all my students and their families, thank you for your support and kind messages. I cannot forget my own family and friends for their calls and messages of comfort over the past few hours,much appreciated for you all.😔😥

What better way to kick start the grading year for all our senior members than a 1st Dan Black belt promotion for one of our long term,loyal and dedicated students... the man,the myth,the legend Sensei Niall Bergin. Sensei Niall already holds a 2nd Dan Black belt in kickboxing and on the 29th of March 2026 he successfully sat his Black belt test in Satory Do. He is a great role model within the club and brings great energy and enthusiasm to every class. It has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to have walked the path beside you on the journey you have taken to get your second Black belt. Oss!
